We are the little gourmet pizza place that finally grew up. Our food is a cohesive blend of Italian , Thai, and Greek influences. Simply put, the food we like to eat. The interior is our expression of vacation chic, while the exterior terrace is a lush, garden-like setting, with a water front view. Inside or out, our restaurant is a testament to our belief that the greatest moments in life usually occur with food and drink at hand. Lets eat!

With waterfront terrasse, it is very romantic place to have lunch or super. Highly recomnanded. Pizza 4 cheese with salad is fantastic & portions are great.

The pizzas were very good, specifically the mon Petit jerk. Unfortunately when we were there it was raining so we didn't get the chance to sit on the terrace, however the interior ambiance is good too.
The server came to the table a lot & kept asking if they can take the plates.

Amazing pizza, friendly service, nice terrasse in the back. The selection of pizza is huge, & includes very unique options such as the mango chicken! The pizzas we tried were so flavourful! Will be coming back to try different flavours.

J’y suis allé avec ma soeur. Belle journée ensoleillée où nous nous sommes promenés dans les rues de ce beau village de notre enfance après une visite au cimetière où nos parents, tantes & oncles y sont enterrés.
Nous avons aperçu ce restaurant sis au 150 rue Ste-Anne & nommé Violet Angel. Une charmante jeune femme nous a conduits vers la terrasse ombragée par des parasols & plusieurs arbres qui rendent ce lieu magique, presque romantique. Très joli & apprécié d’être assis à notre table tout près d’un arbre centenaire & de la promenade du bord de l’eau. Tous deux y avons commandé une pizza artisanale titrée «pizzangelic» & une bière pression. La pizza était absolument DÉLICIEUSE! Sans compter la salade d’une fraîcheur croustillante, touillée avec un dosage d’huile & de vinaigre balsamique parfait. Quel bonheur & quelle surprise! Il y a longtemps que je n’avais goûté ce mets qui au fond est tout de même assez «commun», on s'entend. Lorsque je vais au resto, j’aime que l’on me fasse vivre une expérience non seulement gustative nouvelle, mais qu’on surprenne plusieurs de mes sens. Eh bien, c’est ce que j’ai vécu au Violet Angel. De plus, tout cela nous a été servi par une jeune femme faisant le service qui s’est révélée d’une amabilité, d’une discrétion & d’un accueil incomparables & qui ont fait en sorte de rendre notre journée encore plus réconfortante. Je l’en remercie. Il est certain que j’y retournerai sans hésitation aucune & avec hâte.

Loved sitting out of the patio for a quick lunch away from the office. The staff was great, the half pizza & salad plate was perfect size & portions for a lunch meal. Highly recommend!

Dropped by last night after a bike ride for dinner on the terrace. It was busy but we were seated quickly. Took a long time to get water, then even longer for the waiter to come & take our order. Waiter seemed new & unsure of himself. ok whatever. the table ordered 2 pizzas & 2 salads. The waiter confirmed with me that I was having a salad & there would be an additional charge for the chicken. Ok, fine.
A long time later the waiter arrived with 3 pizzas. We informed him of the mistake, another colleague came along & confirmed that 3 pizzas & 1 salad had been entered in the system. Ok fine just fix the problem. My husband mentioned to the waiter that this new order should go to the top of the queue.
The other salad arrives & my dining partners dig in. I have a slice of my husband's pizza figuring it won't be long. The food was good, very tasty, nice toppings. More time passes. We ask again about my salad. "Shouldn't be long". OK. Later my dining partners have finished their meals, the waiter has taken their plates & then my dinner arrives. When it arrives we tell the waiter that we are expecting some kind of compensation on the bill.
The bills arrive & there is no discount on the price. We ask again. The waiter tells us that they don't do that. We ask to speak to the manager. The waiter runs off & comes back to tell s she's busy & if we want to speak to her we have to go see her. FINE! My husband goes into the restaurant to speak to the manager. She is inside sitting on a stool not looking too busy. She makes it clear that they don't compensate for mistakes. We state that every other restaurant we've ever been to has done something. Then someone from the kitchen yells at my husband that he doesn't care if we don't like it & he doesn't care if we don't come back.
Needless to say we won't be back. The 2 stars is only for the quality of the food - not for the experience.

We went on a Friday evening & despite the place being busy, service was great. Our water was refilled regularly, the food arrived quickly enough & we didn't have to try to attract the server's attention to order or pay.
The pizza was delicious. I especially love flatbread pizzas, so I was happy. I didn't have any salad, but from what I saw, the portions looked very decent. Tge date pudding was suggested to us for dessert & it was very good.
Will definitely be returning.

Wow, really amazing pizza at Violet Angel! We were a group of 4 people & all ordered different pizzas & then shared a portion each so we were able to try all 4. They were all great, fresh ingredients & cooked to perfection. Service was amazing too. Great place!

The pizza is good but don't look for a normal crust greek style pizza here. It's very thin & not very substantial to what I'm accustomed to. I asked for a thicker than normal crust but that was not available & walked away still hungry. No fault to Violet Angel, that's just the way their pizza's are done.
