One of my favorite Greek places! Staff always friendly & welcoming & the food is delicious! I love the chicken skewers & the garlic bread they give with the meal. A must try for anyone in the NDG area :)

Avoid This Place: A Masterclass in Culinary Disappointment
I've had my fair share of takeout, but my first & absolute last time ordering from Villa du Souvlaki was a genuine disaster. I placed a pickup order for a Hero & a Double Chicken Souvlaki platter, & honestly, I would have been better off eating the receipt.
The'Hero' (If You Can Call It That)
The Hero was a joke. It was undersized, lacked any real flavor, & was bone-dry. There was barely any sauce to speak of-just a sad, bland sandwich that didn't live up to its name in the slightest.
The Double Chicken Souvlaki Platter: A Tragedy
The portion size was the only thing that wasn't a total failure, but quantity doesn't matter when the quality is this offensive.
The Chicken: I've chewed on more flavorful napkins. These two sticks were incredibly dry & completely tasteless. I'm not exaggerating when I say cardboard has more flavor than this meat.
The French Fries: They clearly use the cheapest frozen fries they can find. Limp, uninspired, & tasted like freezer burn.
The Salad: This was a collection of'old' ingredients. The tomatoes were mushy, there was a'whisper' of cucumber, a tiny bit of onion, & a dressing that tasted like absolutely nothing.
The Garlic Bread: Stale, dry, & apparently the chef is afraid of butter.
The Verdict: I literally couldn't eat it. After a few bites of trying to find a redeeming quality, I gave up & threw the entire meal in the garbage. What a massive waste of money & a total disappointment for a Montreal staple. If you're looking for a decent meal, keep driving. 0/5.
Excellent food. I literally tried every plate. One of the best grekj salads that i ever had The only reason i gave 4 stars is that no taziki came with my two chicken skewer plate. Taziki is a must & i feel that we shouldnt have to pay extra for it, totally felt like a rip-off & kind of ruined my experience

This review is almost painful to leave. Because the service here was some of the best I've had in Montreal. The mother & daughter (assuming they are family) were both very welcoming & polite. Full table service for only a $10 pita. Unfortunately, the cooks did not show the same love in the food. I could almost taste his frustration with life in the sandwich. A couple of the chicken pieces weren't even thoroughly cooked. Tzatziki was lacking in flavour, was almost just yoghurt. They didn't use the thick Greek pitas, this was an Arabic pita which is thinner & not usually used for Greek food. I wish the food was 2/3 as good as the service.
tasty food, perfect for a quick bite Very good service & nice people Tried the gyros plate & souvlaki chicken sandwich plate, both were perfect with the dzadiki sauce & garlic bread. They care about their customers & make sure they are happy with the food & service
Villa Souflaki is an NDG institution that has been here since the 70's. We are regulars here & love the authentic Greek cuisine This quality fast food always satisfies, the doner is fantastic, the porc, chicken sticks & fries are always spot on. Friends come into town & ask, can we go to Villa? If you have not tried this place, it's a must.
This is one of my favourite Greek places to eat. It's always consistently good, service is fast. They have the best chicken Pita & delicious tzatziki. I have been eating here for 20 years. It's a casual spot great for a quick bite. Since Covid hours have been reduced so check them before ordering or eating in. Enjoy!
Everything was exactly the same as I remember it from 30 years ago. The Greek salad was fresh, the fries were still round, the chicken brochette was tender, the tzatziki was perfectly made, the spanikopita was amazing & the people working at the cash were friendly & competent. I would definitely recommend grabbing a quick bite from here.
Came here with my partner for dinner after an event. Food is pretty tasty. We had the gyro & chicken pita but unfortunately we had been given to gyros instead of one chicken & one gyro. I didn't want to waste food so I ate it instead of asking for the correct pita. Salad & potatoes we're good.
I think the restaurant is in need of a makeover as if feels dated.
