First time in Canada let alone at this location. They did an amazing job with everything. From appetizer to entree to drinks - all delicious! Our waitress Lydia was so lovely & attentive. She gave us space but still checked in on us. Her service alone is a reason to go back. The location is great. The vibe was great for a date night. I highly recommend.
Have been wanting to go there for awhile but was disappointed. We ordered the ceasar salad & the lobster bisque & they were very good. The lobster soup was very lukewarm/cool not hot at all. I ordered the lobster linguine & it came lukewarm/cool & the pasta was so overcooked that i had broken noodles. This is a cream sauce so if it sits for awhile the cream is not creamy but congealed. I would think a high end restaurant would know to serve pasta al dente with a hot very creamy sauce instead of it being pasty as it got cold! We also ordered the filet mignon with bacon. We received it cold & not juicy. We had the chocolate mousse & strawberry cheesecake & both came partially frozen. For a high end restaurant that has been around so long I was very disappointed with the cold & frozen food. We had the Valentine dinner but it wasn't worth the amount of money we paid. We won't be coming back.
Je suis allée avec ma meilleure amie pour son anniversaire, le 14 février (jour de la Saint-Valentin). Elle a pris le menu spécial Saint-Valentin & moi j'ai commandé à la carte.
Honnêtement, la nourriture était absolument délicieuse - tellement, tellement bonne ! Oui, c'est un peu cher… mais est-ce que ça en valait la peine ? Totalement.
C'est officiellement mon nouveau steakhouse préféré. Ma viande était cuite exactement comme je l'aime, les calmars frits étaient tout simplement délicieux, & leur Lichi Martini… un vrai délice !
Même si c'était une soirée très occupée, la serveuse était super gentille, agréable & attentionnée.
Franchement, je n'ai aucun mauvais commentaire à donner. Une expérience parfaite du début à la fin !
The ambiance was really nice & the service was attentive & professional. The food was good overall - the steak was well cooked & flavorful, & you can tell the kitchen knows what it's doing.
However, I'm removing one star because I was disappointed to be charged an extra $4 for the sauce that should normally accompany a steak - especially when the platter already costs $90. For a well-reputed restaurant at this price point, small details like this matter. It's not about the $4 itself, but about the principle & the overall experience.
Overall, it was a pleasant evening, but I expected a little more inclusiveness & attention to detail for that level of pricing.
Nous avons très bien mangé mais nous avons été grandement déçus par le manque de transparence sur les prix . On nous a chargé 7$ pour une bouteille d'eau plate & 4$ pour la sauce qui accompagnait notre steak, sans que ces suppléments ne nous aient été mentionnés au préalable.
Salon took great care of us, all food was served at an excellent pace & was all beyond expectations, everything we ordered was delicious. Will hope to be back from New Orleans again soon

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful & very classy, with soft French music that sets the perfect mood. The view over the Old Port streets is stunning, & I loved where we were seated. I kept taking pictures because everything looked so charming. The décor is cute, cozy, & full of character.
The waiter was warm & welcoming, which made us feel completely at ease. Service was quick, & I really appreciated the little details, like how the butter was shaped ( it looked like a flower) to pair with the bread. I just wish we had been given a bit more bread.
We ordered the table d'hôte at 49$, & for the price, the quality was impressive. For the entrée, we had the shrimp salad with crustinis-delicious & fresh. The main course was shrimp with rice & vegetables, & again, everything was very tasty. The shrimp especially were so flavorful.
But the star of the night was the dessert. The crème brûlée was huge & unbelievably good. It was my first time trying it, & honestly, I'm still thinking about it.
The portions could have been just a tiny bit bigger, but overall, the experience was excellent. I would highly recommend this place.
Also, the décor deserves another mention. I went upstairs to the bathroom & was blown away-the chandelier, the ambiance, even the bathroom itself was clean & beautifully designed.
A wonderful experience from start to finish.
