Thank you Vieux-Port Steakhouse staff & especially Elias & our hostess that took our reservation at such short notice (whom I unfortunately cannot remember the name of). We came to celebrate our first wedding anniversary & Elias helped me secure a good table by the fireplace beforehand as well as some choice champagne & wine to go with the dinner, as well as helped make the dessert special too! I had the surf & turf half lobster & steak & she had the striploin. The food was amazing & so was the atmosphere. We were only visiting Montreal but this has definitely been added to our list of reasons to return!

We went for the Valentine's Day menu. Overall ambience was quite nice, service was decent with a few check-ins from the wait staff. The food was good, we had the filet mignon with red velvet & chocolate mousse cakes for dessert. Wasn't the best dishes I've ever had but fairly good.

The food & ambiance were incredible & even more impressive was our server Monosh! We asked for his favorites including wine, appetizer, main & dessert. We went with all of his recommendations & they were superb. What a great experience for our 20 year wedding anniversary with the very best server!

Lovely steakhouse in the historic Old Port of Montreal. The atmosphere is cozy & romantic blending old world bricks, a fireplace, & tastful decor. We ordered from the December special & the value was fantastic. Appetizer, filling main & a dessert. It cost about $200 with all our food & a few drinks each but could easily have cost more.

This is definitely a place you'd like to eat when traveling to Montréal. It is a bit pricey at first glance online but totally worth it. A very intimate restaurant. I decided on the prefix menu that includes a salad, entree, & dessert. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection, it was like butter. Our server Monosh was very attentive & on point from beginning to end. He took our order & we received it exactly as requested including any changes/requests. A must try!

Très décevant. Accueil en anglais. Plusieurs serveurs ne parlent pas français. Pas du tout.
Nourriture beaucoup trop grasse. Service inadéquat. Un exemple. On m'offre le poivre alors que j'ai déjà terminé mon potage! Un convive a eu un dessert spécial vu sa déception par rapport à son repas.
Un des employés senior passait son temps à corriger les autres serveurs n'ayant aucune idée de ce qu'ils
doivent faire.
J'y suis allé à quelques reprises & c'est maintenant terminé. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant à quiconque.

brunch de Pâques 2018 tres décevant. Le service était manquant. Les plats chauds ne se remplissaient pas au moment opportun & le temps d attendre pour les convives était frustrant. Manque d assiettes principales au début du Brunch pour ainsi pourvoir se servir . Repas décevant pour une journée ou l on prend le temps de sortir & de souligner la belle fete de Pâques. Salades peu recherchées(salade de chou,ect),& retrouvons vers 14hres15 environ, la table de dessert avec deux choix de dessert ( biscuit au beurre d arachide & petits desserts glacé au café?) Ou sont rendus les autres choix de dessert qu il y avait en début de brunch? Heureusement, nous avons eu le plaisir de nous faire faire notre omelette par un chef professionnel & gentil. C était la deuxieme fois que nous allions au restaurant, la premiere fois, nous étions au brunch du jour de l an de janvier 2017 & c était fameux. Avec l expérience que nous avons eu aujourd hui, je ne sais pas si nous allons retourner au restaurant.

J'y suis allé à l'occasion de l'événement Happening Gourmand & j'ai choisi le Surlonge de Boeuy avec la salade de type jardinière en entrée. J'avais aussi droit à un dessert (mousse aux bleeuts ou chocolats), le tout pour 25$ par personne. Rien de spécial, la pièce de viande était cuite comme demandée, & servie avec des patates & fèves vertes, mais très petites portions. Serveur très professionnel, mais pour la bouffe, lorsque ce n,est pas à prix réduit, j'éviterais. On peut facilement manger un steak bien meilleur ailleurs (Keg & Moishe's), au même prix.

I decided to give this resturant a try after seeing it listed on Happening Gourmand. My boyfriend & i both ordered salads for our entree. They brought him escargot. He said he ordered the salad. they then brought him the soup. Again he asked for the salad & finally got it.We both ordered our steaks to be cooked medium. When he started cutting into this we saw that it was rare. The waiter only offered to throw it back on the grill, wouldnt even bring him a new steak. Desserts were just as impressive. It had to be the worst creme brule I've ever had. For the prices they charge I would expect a friendly waiter & to at least have the food cooked the way you ordered it. I will never go here again.
