We were visiting Montreal & stayed close by so decided to try the steakhouse. Jimmy our waiter was great even though the place filled up fast. He was kind & attentive as well as efficient. The food was great but the dessert was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience.

We ordered 2 RAW steaks & 4 pints, we paid 180$ for 2 pieces of spoiled steaks,4 warm beers & the 1 calamari, this & was the woman who served us very attentive & pleasant, were the best.

It begins with just a beautiful ambience while street side in old Montreal. Then the food arrives & it was extraordinary, even the kids went off their usual menu likes & enjoyed it. The service (Monosh) was very attentive & informative in helping the kids with their choices. Don't hesitate as a nice treat.

Our server, Dave Raza, was outstanding-attentive, friendly, & knowledgeable about the menu, making our evening truly special. The Ribeye I ordered was tender & flavorful, cooked exactly to my preference, while the sides were equally delicious. Dave's recommendations elevated our meal, & his professionalism made us feel genuinely welcome. I highly recommend Vieux-Port Steakhouse for anyone looking to enjoy top-notch cuisine with exemplary service.

The food at this place is fantastic, especially the incredibly tender meat. The service is also top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring that everything meets your preferences. The terrace has a lovely atmosphere, & the wine selection is impressive. Additionally, the place is impeccably clean. The only thing is, considering the price of the dishes, I think they could improve the presentation.

We loved this restaurant on our visit to Old Montreal! We actually went twice we enjoyed it so much. Excellent food - recommend the steak frites or chicken supreme along with the Caesar salad. Service staff was wonderful - attentive & kind, speaking both French & English effortlessly. Atmosphere in the stairs dining was quiet & peaceful for our group.

The food, atmosphere, & service was amazing. Would definitely go again & recommend the place to others. Our server Adam was really great. Adam was attentive, nice, caring, & made sure we had everything we needed & that our dinner service was great. Adam worked hard to ensure everything went smoothly & had great communication skills to let us know when the food would come & any updates we needed to know. Adam was very knowledgeable about the meals at the restaurant & was able to answer any questions we had about ingredients or preparations of the dishes as well! Overall it was a great experience!

Had a great experience for a private event. Food was fabulous & the service was great - Not only did Heidi excel in their role as a server, but they also exhibited exceptional professionalism & grace under pressure. Despite a busy evening, they remained attentive & composed, ensuring that each guest received the same level of impeccable service. The only recommendation would be to have access to a PA system/microphone for the private room Thanks again for a great evening!

Absolutely great restaurant in the heart of Old Montreal. Great atmosphere, tables not crammed together, we had a table by a window on the 2nd floor. The steaks were prepared exactly as requested & the service by Monosh was outstanding - attentive, pleasant, responsive & a real professional. Lots to see around the restaurant as well on a walking tour with the family.

This is definitely a place you'd like to eat when traveling to Montréal. It is a bit pricey at first glance online but totally worth it. A very intimate restaurant. I decided on the prefix menu that includes a salad, entree, & dessert. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection, it was like butter. Our server Monosh was very attentive & on point from beginning to end. He took our order & we received it exactly as requested including any changes/requests. A must try!
