I went apple picking with my 22 month old & my partner. We arrived , 2 guides working strictly on parking duty guided us & we managed to get a spot inside. Entrance is about $5.50 per adult & under 3 years old it's free. Then you pay per big or small bag. For regular apples it's a certain price. For higher grade apples called « selection » you pay a different price. Depending on what you pay, you will pick in different sections. I decided to purchase 2 big bags. I make apple sauce for my little one. Total was about $85. We left the stroller & the baby's bag in the designated area, but you do not have to. & upon our return after apple picking the stroller & the bag were still there. We went on the tractor, went down in a section for people who purchased the « selection » bags. I ate at least 3 apples on the spot to decide on the ones i liked best, lots of ladders, lots of apples on the trees, some apples low, some high. Lots of apples on the ground too but hey that's what apple picking is about. We ran out of time but they also have a pumpkin patch. You pay per pumpkin from what i understood. Anyhow, after picking apples we hopped back on the tractor, went to the little farm they have in the front to see the chicken, bunnies, donkey, ducks & goats. Goat food can be purchased, it's a handful for 30 cents. My toddler enjoyed running & watching the ducks. There's also a little play area with 2 slides, climbing area, 1 small car & lots of tables & benches to have a picnic. We didn't need to go to the bathroom so i cannot comment on that. After feeding the goats, we passed by the little boutique & purchased some apple muffins, apple cider, tarts & apple butter. Total was around $80.They also have ice cream, frozen soup. All in all, we were very happy about our first time there & will definitely go back! Btw all the apples are organic. Yeah sure the prices are high compared to simply buying apples at the grocery store & afterall we are doing the labour by picking the apples but it's all about the experience. The farm also has it's own costs about maintenance, employees, etc.View more
• Apple Picking: I've been to apple orchards in St-Hilaire & Île-d'Orléans, but never knew this place existed until I moved to Vaudreuil. A few neighbors recommended it to me, & I'm so glad they did! The variety of apples is fantastic, & the best part? It's ALL organic! There are even some varieties I didn't know about. I've seen some comments about the prices being high, but honestly, I think it's more than fair when you consider the work involved in organic farming on such a large scale. The orchard is incredibly well-maintained, & the taste of fresh, organic apples is a game-changer. After learning how supermarket apples can be picked up to a year in advance & treated with chemicals to extend shelf life, I'll never buy those again! • Corn Maze: I had no idea they also have themed corn mazes! On weekends, they even have animators in costume who provide the storyline, which adds to the experience. I've always wanted to try one, & it was so much fun. It's kid-friendly but still challenging enough for adults. My toddler & I had a blast navigating the maze. • Boutique, Staff, & Amenities: The staff are super friendly & welcoming. The on-site pastries, especially the apple muffins & apple crumbles, are delicious! There are plenty of picnic tables to relax at, & the kids' playground & toys are perfect for keeping little ones entertained. They also have a small petting zoo with a variety of animals, but my favourites were the llama, donkey, & adorable goats. They also have a great variety of pumpkins & squashes, including some unique kinds I've never encountered before, which is pretty cool. They definitely offer an impressive selection of produce. It's a perfect spot for a family outing or a fun day with friends! The boutique offers a wide selection of local products, from honey to maple syrup & organic garlic that's absolutely divine. Overall: Everything about this place is fantastic. Highly recommend!View more
