Whenever I'm in Outremont, I always stop by Van Horne Pizzeria. There's no other way. The warm atmosphere & care of the team are just as amazing as the delicious food they serve. I highly recommend the chicken pita sandwich; everything about it is perfffect, see for yourself
Parmi les meilleurs sous-marin de Montréal, essayez le tout garni ou le steak champignons. Personnel courtois. Je prends pour emporter, mais ils ont récemment agrandi la salle, à voir. Je n'ai pas goûté la pizza depuis longtemps, les sous-marin sont trop bons.

The pizza was excellent. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff. The only problem was that the ingredients did not stick to the pizza & the cheese did not stretch.
The pizza is GREAT & so are the other food choices. The owner who is often there, is very accommodating. The place is clean & bright & the recent renovation makes it more attractive to eat in. Good job! Always a good place to go during a power failure! :-)
I love this place. Every time I get sick of the modern era, I hope in my time machine via quick phone call to Van Horne Pizza. No Ubereats or Doordash skimming part of the price & stealing tips! No tracking drivers anxiously. Just a quick phone call, & free delivery at a reasonable price, within a reasonable time frame. It's like ordering a pizza from the 90s. They do take credit cards, so I guess late 90s, although I generally pay cash for the full nostalgic experience. The pizza is great by Montreal standards - especially the thin crust. I wanted to take a photo but my kids ate the whole pizza already. Next time.

Great first experience! We ordered, & our expectations were surpassed. The poutine is approved. ✅ The pizzas are absolutely delicious. The all-dressed sub exceeded our expectations. The delivery guy was friendly & very nice. I would definitely order again & look forward to coming by to eat on-site. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The friendliest guys ever! The fries are to die for. But the pizza is just chef's kiss. Hard to find cheap & & delicious food in Outremont but this always hits the spot.
