Hidden gem in the plateau serving the best sushi in the area. Generous portions for the affordable price. The eel poke bowl was really good, this place is a lot better than the other sushi places kicking around at the moment. The guy working there is super nice to, great serviceView more

It is absolutely no exaggeration when I say that this is the best poke bowl I've ever had! & I have traveled to Hawaii. The bowl is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, & the portion is generous. The same goes for sushi. You can tell that the owner, who btw. is very friendly & welcoming, takes great care in how he prepares the food & in choosing the best ingredients. Excellent sushi prepared by the owner. I suggest you order in advance as he works alone. The place is tiny with few seats good enough for eating solo, otherwise best to take-away. I recommend the torched-salmon sushi.View more

Astoundingly good sushi at any price point, but at this price truly exceptional. The chef was very kind & welcoming. The sushi at Uto is absolutely amazing, the best in MTL in my opinion. It is so fresh & the owner is also lovely! We had a big order of takeout & he was able to get it done in about 40 minutes, which was a feat considering he is working completely solo as a new business owner. I would highly recommend Uto sushi to anyone (#16 is AMAZING), plus its close proximity to Parc Jeanne-Mance makes it the perfect take away option for a nice picnic.View more
