Good jazz music - burger was dry, fries grissy & not fresh, the medium duck was well-done, but tasty.
This place is great. Always the best musicians. The food is good, same as service. Highly recommend. You will always have a great time there!
Music was amazing.a little crowded & tables next to each other are extremely close. The place is small, but I'm looking forward to going in the summer on the terrace. But the musicians were amazing & worth the experience. I will definitely go back.
Excellent music. Food wasn't. I went for the concert first & not for the food admittedly, but still, it wasn't good. Tacos were extremely soggy & empty. The quesadillas had vegetables on the side instead of in it? It may be common, & I didn't know, but for the price, it wasn't enough compared to something like 3 Brasseurs. Seats were also way too tight. That said, if you do go, go for the music & not for the food. Concordia was showing when I went. Incredible singer.
Matured & Intimate spot with a narcotic musical live genre of , jazz of vast majority. Service impeccably inviting attentatively concerned to allow an amazing experience of cocktails & a variety of cuisines with modest affordable pricing every time.
So many talented musicians play here! We've been there, four times when visiting Montreal. Great ambience! Highly recommend
The service was amazing. Ordered a fish & chips & the the fries I had a wonderful experience. The musicians are extremely talented & the atmosphere felt surreal.. Highly highly recommend !!
Great vibe, great music. Will definitely be back. Definitely more of a drinks & music place, I would probably pass on the food.
The burger was good. Fries were average. But I paid $10 for jazz, when the live music hadn't started yet! I asked the waiters twice to bring my beer, but it was so late!
Montreal is great for live jazz venues, so we went there on a recommendation. Ten dollar cover, but I'm ok with that when there's live music. Really cool atmosphere, & since it was a jam night, there was a wide range of musicians showing off their various talents. Will be stopping in again for sure!
Last Friday night , the Marianne Trudel Trio was superb in their interpretation of Jobim's music. Ms. Trudel's improvisational skill is remarkably subtle & nuanced & the bluesy rifts she did brought down the house. As a New Yorker who hosts a jazz show & teaches jazz in film in New York City, this performance was the top of the line, exceptional in all aspects of the genre. Please give us more of the talent !! & to add she cut a finger on the keys , left the stage for four minutes as Etienne & Sacha played on & then returned to finish the piece & the set. Remarkable. Encore.
Went to listen to some good blues music. A quaint place with a great vibe & attentive audience.
Awesome place, great live music setup that allows you to chat or simply enjoy music.
The music was great! My salmon plate, however, wasn't that great. Very basic vegetables & salmon with plain white rice. It definitely wasn't worth paying $20+ for, & the portion was so small that I was still hungry & ate again at home. The service was super slow but the waitresses really did their best to make everyone happy & I appreciated it 😊 still a must visit!
