Situé au coeur du Centre-Ville de Montréal, ce restaurant est bien plus branché et original que les restaurants traditionnels. Avec son décor moderne d'acier inoxydable, l'ambiance y est parfaite pour une soirée ou un dîner décontractés. De la pizza aux pâtes en passant par les omelettes classiques, sans oublier les plats plus raffinés de veau, les brochettes et les imposants sandwichs à trois étages, Universel Déjeuners et Grillades a quelque chose pour tous les goûts. La carte des vins complète confirme la réputation de ce resto comme nouvelle destination de choix pour passer ses soirées, et la variété de bières pression québécoises démontre clairement que les propriétaires sont fiers de ce que les micros brasseurs d'ici ont à offrir. Même s'il est évident que ce resto attire une clientèle de jeunes adultes, Universel Déjeuners et Grillades a un menu pour enfants qui comprend déjeuners, dîners et soupers. Il y a également des déjeuners impressionnants, dont la spécialité maison, le «Déjeuner Universel». C'est donc le mélange parfait entre un établissement familial et un restaurant à la fois chic et tendance.

Very good breakfast option If you are travelling downtown Montreal or visiting McGill. Nothing really special but food is pretty good. It can get very crowded tho which may affect service quality by a tiny bit but overall still a good option.Voir plus

The attendant was kind, nice, served us very well. The food came quickly. It was excellent. The smoothies are amazing. They were very receptive to my little daughter & I loved it.

Absolutely loved this place! One of the things that really stood out to me was that they offer late breakfast options, I was there aroun noon during the week & got offered both menus. Super convenient. The service was impeccable, & the food was amazing. They have a great variety of dishes for both breakfast & dinner, & everything I tried was delicious. Highly recommend!Voir plus

My family & I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant We stumbled on this place while looking for a breakfast joint on Rue Cathrine before a campus tour. We were warmly greeted upon entry. Our server was excellent. I've never had someone ask'which language would you prefer to communicate with?' That's memorable service which warranted a huge tip at the end of our meal.
Anyway, the breakfast portions weren't huge, but just right. I ordered a western sandwich on croissant (excellent). My daughter ordered a croissant sandwich with egg, sausage & Swiss cheese (also excellent). My youngest daughter ordered plain crepes. When I tasted hers, I ordered my own single crepe as well. It was one of the best crepes I've tasted outside of what is made at home, or what Cora's serves.
I was most impressed by the bottle of maple syrup , free of charge, brought to the table to enjoy with crepes , French toast or waffles. The maple syrup was so good, i was considering sneaking the bottle into my daughter's purse (I didn't!)

Mon expérience est impeccable à chaque fois que je viens déjeuner ici. C'est vraiment mon restaurant préféré pour déjeuner. C'est vraiment jolie comme restaurant, & les portions sont très bonnes pour le prix. Les travailleurs sont extrêmement gentils. Ils ont aussi beaucoup de variété de plats. Je prends toujours le déjeuner universals avec toutes les viandes. Je n'ai jamais essayer leur lunch menu items, mais je suis sûr que c'est autant délicieux:)Voir plus
