Japanese Ramen restaurant. Specializes in Fukuoka style Tonkotsu Ramen. Home made creamy Tonkotsu broth, organic, totally Non-MSG. Also serves some small side dishes and Japanese beer.
Overall, reviews describe Tsukuyomi Ramen as a visually striking, cozy space with Japan-inspired decor and a lively vibe that many find engaging, though a few note it can be noisy or busy; the staff are repeatedly praised for friendly, knowledgeable service and speedy attention, with reservations recommended during peak times. The ramen earns widespread praise for depth of flavor, well-balanced broths, and generous portions, especially tonkotsu and miso varieties, while some bowls are described as excellent and others as good but with room for improvement, such as noodles or the egg in certain dishes or the vegan ramen not meeting expectations. Appetizers like gyoza and karaage are commonly liked, and the beer or sake offerings are highlighted as a nice pairing, with the location noted for value and consistency compared with similar spots in Montreal. A few reviews mention changes or inconsistencies over time, or preferences for certain bowls over others, but the overall sentiment is that Tsukuyomi Ramen provides an authentic feel and is a standout option for ramen in the area, with plans to return.
I could've forgiven the lack of any flavour profile if it was instant ramen that I made at home, however charging $18 for this flavourless, & chewy ramen is unreal. Everything tasted like it was cooked a couple hours ago, or placed straight in the bowl from a packet. On the plus side, the ramen comes out right after you order it, so it's great if you're in a rush - but you'd enjoy your dinner more if you grab a $1 ramen pack from Marché Newon. The service an atmosphere were amazing though!
Was pretty disappointed with the food after reading the good reviews. The food was subpar; nothing tasted fresh, everything tasted like it came out of a box.

One of the best ramen I've had in a long time. Good food is hard to find in Montreal at a decent price but this is a must try. I will definitely go back
Not very good. Had their original pork ramen. It was kinda sad. Broth was alright but not much in the bowl, pork seemed close to expiring, noodles clumpy. No choice of thin or thick noodles presented. Decor is nice. Wait staff seem elsewhere. The big ramen chain Kinton down the street does it better. Was hoping this would have a more artisanal vibe. But it seems just as loveless a place.
Overall good food but some minor issues. Chicken broth is lean, a little shame for the ramen. Fried chicken is well fried but not marinated, had to eat with the sauce:( Chashu is very good though!
nathan was amazing! i felt safe & comfortable ordering my food & alcohol & he made our dinner enjoyable alongside the others 🥹 having the food being absolutely amazing, having an amazing service was definetely a plus!! thank you so much & hopefully get served by this team again soon 🫶
Ramen was over my expectation with effective service. The staff responded quickly & the food delivery is fast as well. Overall, as a solo traveller I think that also a good place to have a quick meal also.

Great spot for a quick lunch. I saw mostly students & small groups here, however I did see a large group of 20+ people upstairs that got the whole space reserved for them. Food was nice, get the black garlic ramen & the karaage !

Funky Ramen place with young crowd. I actually had the Donbori rice bowl with pulled pork & it was very good! I'll be back to taste the Ramen next time around!
The food was great. The service also very good. We shared a lot of different dishes & really enjoyed it. I'm glad that we had a chance to try not only ramen, though it was very good. I liked how this place is decorated inside.

Oooh, the tonkotsu ramen was so good! Creamy & flavourful & just fantastic. The place has a cool vibe, & the service was friendly & good, just a little slow. It was busy, though, so I do not mind. Delicious!
