Upon booking our reservation online weeks in advance, we mentioned to the restaurant that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. On arrival, the hostess proceeded to sit us at the bar instead of the "reserved" tables that were available & we watched walk-in customers (with no reservations) being seated at tables. After demanding a table, we immediately ordered our vegan meals (which were delicious) but had a really hard time waving down our waitress to place an order for a pitcher (which was mostly made of ice) & to pay our bill (where she asked if we wanted separate bills on our anniversary). The ambiance was nice & the house DJ (Star Q) was amazing. All in all, we had a mixed experience. Hopefully, it was the exception & not the rule.

Went with my wife around 7pm on a Saturday, hostess tried seating us at the bar saying there's no tables available. Restaurant was empty. When I reserved a week in advance I booked a table in the restaurant so not sure what changed. After some confusion got a small table & hostess reminded us again we have the table for 2 hours lol. Poutine with lobster was good. Ordered the Jerk chicken & Rasta pasta it came out within 2mins of us ordering it. Didn't know that's possible. Drinks were subpar. Beer was good only one option. Waitress was nice & helpful. Not sure if the place wants to be a restaurant or a bar or club? I guess it's all three. Felt like the the club was more important than the food.

Grear vibe but the drinks are literally like juice & the plates are not generous. However , the vibe & service were great

Le plateau Tropikal excellent!!!!!! le steak tendre savoureux, le ceviche excellent, les queues de homard & les crevettes tout étaient excellent.

DONT GO THERE!!!!
They delete your bad reviews on Instagram so all you see is the good reviews from staff members that pretends to be customers
Very rude & aggressive staff
I waited 50min for a simple salad then when I asked the manager about the whereabouts of my salad he started attacking me verbally & insulting me
Very cheap quality chicken I almost got poisoned
They blocked me on Instagram becose I complained
So if you don't want to waste your TIME & MONEY! DONT GO THERE

Mac & cheese was amazing, wings was good but a little dry, plantains perfect & it came with a sauce, I can't remember the name but it was good. For my drink, I got the Tropikal passion, I'm not a drinker so it was a little strong. My friend got the Bon bagay drink that was very good. Staff was amazing.

Food is always excellent. I had requested & thankfully gotten a table this time, so it was extra pleasant to lean back & relax a bit. Service is always courteous & attentive. Drinks were exceptional (Salassi & Pink Thing... yeeeeum). I like to oder "tapas style" from the apps whilst my husband took a plate. Hes a BIG football player type dude & needed a doggy bag to take home - that's saying alot about portions. All on all 10/10.

J'étais là avec ma famille pour le souper (& pour souligner la graduation de notre fille). Alors on est venu tôt comme le resto se transforme plus en bar plus tard dans la soiree.
Excellente bouffe (qualité & présentation; vraiment spécial), bonne service. La place est agreablement climatisé. Beau décor. Seule hic: stationnement n'est pas facile à trouver, alors prennez le métro ( ça vous permettra aussi de plus profiter des délicieux coktails.
On y va retourner (en métro)!

Service extrement lent. Nourriture & cocktail tres bon. 1h pour les cocktails. & 10 à 15 minutes dattente avant que tous les repas soient servis. Quand nous avons commence a manger, tout etait froid. Ils ont gardé la porte patio ouverte & ils faisaient froid, a plusieurs reprises nous avons demandé de les fermer, maia sans succes. Je n'y retournerais pas.

Il n'y a pas meilleur resto pour avoir une ambiance chaleureuse, dynamique & un succulent repas! Si tu n'es pas aller la tu ne peux pas continuer de vivre.

In 30 years of dining out, I've never experienced a restaurant as poor as this. It's hard to call this a restaurant. A bar perhaps, with dreadful bar food. The staff were doing shots with each other behind the bar, ignoring guests, having their own party & it was only 8.30 pm. It seemed like patrons were a nuisance, interrupting their fun. There is no hint of service. The food was a combination of under cooked, cold, tasteless & inedible. On paper it sounds like it would work, the idea is good, the menu would work.

Nous avons adoré l'originalité du menu. C'était une première visite pour souligner un anniversaire, un délicieux moment. Merci beaucoup! On revient cet été c'est sûre sûre!!!

Trés bonne ambiance, musique agréable,staff chaleureux & compétent, nourriture très bonnes
J'ai été pour fêter mon anniversaire & je ne suis pas déçu. Je le recommande à tous. Une très belle découverte & un je vais y retourné.
