I actually booked this place last minute for new year eve for myself.
This sushi place was recommended to me by a friend. The area is amazing. In a quiet residential area I didn't expect this food to be outstanding. Wow. I was quite literally blown away. The sushi is hands downs fresh. There is a big difference. I am a sushi lover & this had to be one of the best sushi places I have eaten & I moved from Toronto to Montreal. I would highly recommend eating here & I will most definitely go back. WOW I can't get over the dishes.
I actually forgot to take a picture of my last main sushi platter that's how excited I was once I received the plate cause I couldn't wait to get into it.
delicious!!! We had the waiter make all our selections for us & we were thrilled!! Fresh, tasty fantastic!
The dishes are always very fresh & of top quality & never disappointing. However, the staff could improve their customer service. They seem annoyed by our presence & can be quite brusque when serving the table. Improving the service would make the overall experience much better.

Amazing sushi served in a beautifully quirky decor. Shared the meal for two with a friend & it was so fresh, flavourful & well portioned. Highly recommend & will be back!
Delicious & fresh food, the service was incredibly quick & the decor is very maximalist but cute & cozy. I really recommend this place! It's quite small so make sure you have a reservation to not have to wait outside.
I really enjoyed the sushi & presentation at Tri Express. The place is cozy & tastefully decorated. The sashimi was delicious & I never thought I'd comment about the ginger but it was so fresh & packed a punch. There are only a few tables available for on-site dining so I suggest reserving in advance.
unfortunately got mild food poisoning after. please ensure fish is fresh but I understand that this can happen anytime & at any place. besides that no other comments.
It's ALWAYS amazing at TRI EXPRESS. We are never disappointed by the food , the freshness of everything & the pleasant staff & ambiance. 100% satisfied. My only complaint was not having a second stomach to eat more. 🤣
The food is delicious & fresh. The staff is kind & attentive. The restaurant itself is quaint, beautifully decorated & has a calm yet vibrant energy.
I anxiously waited for restaurant covid restrictions to be lifted so I could dine in & enjoy a meal. I ended up going alone & the atmosphere was perfect, warm lighting & good selection of music. Lots of intriguing decor to keep the eyes busy & fast, friendly service. The sushi was beautifully presented & so fresh! Not to mention the tartare pyramid- a flavour explosion & had the perfect texture.
This is a gem of a restaurant tucked away in the plateau. While the restaurant is small the ideas are large, & the chef combines fresh in ingredients in novels ways to create must-try delicacies.
