Stepping into Tri Express feels like slipping through a hidden portal. The place itself is truly special, beautifully decorated with antique, vintage pieces inspired by the marine world. It's unique in a way that makes you want to slow down & take it all in.
The atmosphere is warm & inviting, & the service matches it perfectly. The staff are friendly, attentive. The table setup is thoughtfully done, yet simple.
Now, the food… honestly, amazing. You can taste the freshness in every bite. The menu offers a great variety, & the combinations are both creative & well-balanced. The sushi stands out, the rice is just perfect in both thickness & quality, so you don't feel overly full, just satisfied.
My absolute favorites were the salmon tartare, the lobster tartare & the maki de saison tri, incredibly fresh & full of flavor. We also started with a sashimi nouveau style topped with apple & a special sauce, which was a really nice & refreshing touch. Even the presentation of each dish was on point.
As for the price, it's very reasonable considering the quality & quantity you get. & just to clarify, the total you see on the bill was for one person, while we were actually two dining.
Overall, Tri Express is not just a restaurant, it's an experience. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

J'ai vraiment apprécié! Le poisson était tellement frais, & la rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel. J'aime le décor, super éclectique & chaleureux. Un classique montréalais. Je recommande vivement!
Très bonne adresse, c'est frais, délicieux & les recettes sont super originales. Autant que la décoration des lieux ! On est juste triste que ce soit loin de chez nous, sinon on serait des clients très assidus.
Souper sur le pouce avec des amis, on ne peut pas dire que c'était notre soir. Le décor fait cliché mais c'est sympa mais l'expérience était étrange dans l'assiette. Surtout le tartare avec du crunchy, c'est trop fusion à mon goût ! Le service perd une étoile pour m'avoir facturé un supplément qu'on m'avait offert.
Amazing sushi served in a beautifully quirky decor. Shared the meal for two with a friend & it was so fresh, flavourful & well portioned. Highly recommend & will be back!
Delicious & fresh food, the service was incredibly quick & the decor is very maximalist but cute & cozy. I really recommend this place! It's quite small so make sure you have a reservation to not have to wait outside.
Went for my birthday & had a fantastic time! Food was excellent, service was great & the decor was very fun. I highly recommend the chef's choice omakase 1 & the sushi pizza. We also tried the special of the day (black cod), & it was absolutely incredible. The portions were great, & we were extremely full at the end. Definitely would come back!
I really enjoyed the sushi & presentation at Tri Express. The place is cozy & tastefully decorated. The sashimi was delicious & I never thought I'd comment about the ginger but it was so fresh & packed a punch. There are only a few tables available for on-site dining so I suggest reserving in advance.
Love the decor, music & food is really good too. However we've been clients for years & have to admit that quantity & quality is just not the same, unfortunately
Nous avons bien aimé notre passage chez vous, nourriture excellente, très bon service & décor impressionnant. Mais 2 élèments nous empêchent d'être parfaitement satisfaits : les plats étaient servis avec un empressement qui nous donnait l'impression que l'on désirait que l'on parte rapidement & le vin était cher, rien en bas de 60$ . Merci

Super restaurant. J'y suis allé pour l'anniversaire de ma copine & ce fut exceptionnel! Tout d'abord, l'ambiance & la décoration est parfaite. Ensuite, le peu de tables disponibles ajoute un petit côté plus intime & le service est super rapide! Les employés étaient très professionnels & nous emmennais les plats au fur & à mesure, ainsi nous étions toujours en train de manger en petite quantité & il n'y avait pas de trou d'attente. Je conseil fortement, cependant il faut prévoir un certain budget.
