Restaurant Toucheh is a quaint little b.y.o.w. place in the 'Victoria Village' in the heart of Westmount. The kitchen is practically part of the dinning room and the atmosphere is always comfortable and cozy.
At Toucheh the warm cozy atmosphere and family run service accompany a menu that blends Persian and Italian influences. The dining experience draws praise for fresh flavorful dishes and attentive staff. Diners highlight standout items such as chencheh kebabs, pastas, lentil soup, and desserts, with brunch and BYOB noted as appealing features. The atmosphere is described as welcoming and suitable for dates or casual meals, though some critics find portions for Iranian dishes smaller than expected and a few dishes not at the same level as professional kitchen cooking, along with high prices for some items. Persian & Italian? I get why, but really? Perfect one over the other. Ok, it was a Monday night at 7 pm that we went to eat. There were a few, 4 to be exact, tables of customers, but the server, 1, could have been more attentive. We asked that a second bottle of wine be kept cold. Instead, she opened it. We were then forced to drink it. As for the food...it was tasty but the portions are small. I had the Joojeh Chicken Kebab. It was served with soup or salad, onions that hid the chicken, saffron rice & an undercooked grilled tomato. The chicken was tasty & well cooked, but there was hardly any chicken. Like I said, it was smothered in sauted onions to hide the lack of chicken. The rice was really good & the tiny salad was delicious. I wanted more. My partner had the lamb shank. He said it was good but not enough. In summary, for the price you pay ...the portions are tiny. Will we go back? Probably not. There are many other Persian restaurants that give bigger portions & are more economical.
J'ai pris le penne au poulet & champignons & c'était exquis! Les meilleures que j'ai mangées; les pâtes étaient fraîches & bien apprêtées ! Ça vaut le prix & le détour! L'endroit est intime & chaleureux. Les desserts sont variés & délicieux!
I would even give 10 stars if it were available ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👌🏻 One of the best dining experiences I have had. The food & service were super excellent. Everything was great from start to finish.The manager was so polite & kind & also staff were very friendly. I will recommend this restaurant to my friend & others who ask me where the best Persian/Italian restaurant in Montreal is ☺️
The ambiance was very relaxing & laid back. I loved the penne, as well as the Tiramisu. The staff & the owner of the restaurant were very professional & made sure everything was alright for us throughout our meal. I was originally very worried when my boyfriend & I made a reservation; upon our arrival, the atmosphere was unexpectedly loud. The staff was understanding of this, & resolved the matter professionally. I would overall recommend this place for special occasions & if you're looking for a very relaxing culinary experience.

Came to enjoy a quiet dinner with my husband, but ended up in a place that was extremely noisy because of a very large party with many children. A place like this should not allow for large groups of people, ruins the atmosphere. Could not wait to leave, don't even remember if the food was good
Got the chicken mushroom pesto pasta. It was a little salty for my liking. The mushrooms still tasted raw. I wish it overall had a bit more texture to it. No offer of parmesan or pepper like other Italian places. My friend enjoyed her salmon dish. Friendly, pleasant service. Took ages to get our bills even though we were the last people in the restaurant. Byow is always a plus.
Hands down the best lamb shank I've had in Montreal. I came here once in 2019 on a trip & came back again today & the lamb shank was consistently good. The meat just falls off the bone & pairs well with the rest of the dish. My wife got the baked eggplant dish & she was thoroughly satisfied. The atmosphere is relaxing & our waitress was friendly & attentive. Hands down this is a restaurant I'd come to every time I visit Montreal & I'd recommend it if you're looking for an upscale restaurant with diverse flavors to start or end your evening.
OUTSTANDING!!! My spouse & I were visiting Montreal from Maryland (USA) My spouse & visited the restaurant on my birthday 06/01/2024. My spouse who is handicap & used a walker to ambulate was assisted by the manager as we entered the restaurant. The entire staff seemed sincere & genuinely interested in ensuring we were comfortable in the restaurant serene atmosphere. The food was beyond delicious & the chocolate cake was to die for. The manager was kind enough to call for a taxi so we could return to our hotel & he assisted my spouse with exiting the restaurant & entering the taxi. Next time that we visit Montreal we will definitely revisit Toucheh Restaurant.

I used to go here years ago ago. The former resto was called "Encore un fois". We had a very good lunch (which we were too late to take photos) We started with a zucchini soup which was very nice. We had the eggplant with garlic Pasta & the lamb shank...both yummy. We had leftovers we didn't want to leave behind so that all I got for you. Dessert was chocolate cake which was not overly rich & nice tasting .
