I had the classic avocado toast on gluten free bread with an egg on top & it was very, very good. My partner had the breakfast croissant sandwich which came with salad on the side & he really enjoyed it. We got chai lattes that were the perfect temperature & not too sweet. Tommy Cafe is a quirky place with a really nice vibe. Great to pop in for a hot drink or grab a pastry or a bite to eat. Seems very popular with locals & tourists alike. As a bonus I also got the gluten free lemon cake to take away & it was divine. We will definitely be returning!
The drinks & baked goods are decent & i would go again! The cafe itself is gorgeous & i love how the interior is decorated! The workers are really kind & make you feel welcomed. Really nice place to do your work or just relax.
We enjoyed every sip of our drinks. The food was delicious, & the staff were very friendly & welcoming. Great experience overall!
Sandwiches are good. About $30-35 per person if you ordered a drink. My dog is not allowed to come in.
This is a PHENOMENAL cafe. The drinks are fantastic & the food is delicious.
Above & beyond it all, the staff here is super friendly & made a packed cafe feel like home.
I'd give this place 10 stars if I could.
Definitely coming back!
Amazing service, super kind staff, & great food & drinks!! Highly recommend !
Super adorable cafe adjacent to Notre Dame basilica & square. Many great quaint seating options from the beautiful front steps to one of the 3 levels inside. Great toasts & treats & drinks.
Not a lot of places use their vertical space well. Most of them just have the two separate floors with a stairway just to get between them but I really like what Tommys did. They have half way spaces on the way up to the second floor that looks out at everyhing. Opening up the second story & having that inbetween space really makes the place feel like there is not a bad spot throughout.
The pastries looked great but we ended up just going with some cold brew which had a nice chocolatly note. It was a little bit busy but we were able to get our drink & seats almost imediatly so it ended up not being too bad.
Overall a great place for coffee.
honestly i've been hearing about this place for months & today i decided to give it a try, when i came in there was this really sweet blond girl at the cash register, the issue came with the guy that was making my drink, the only lids that were available were hot coffee lids so i asked if he had any straw lids & he said no, then he pointed to the hot lids & said thats all they had, me not being used to this i asked should i put the straw in the hot lid hole & he said'i dont care what you do' after that i decided to not interact with him anymore, as i took my first sip i realized that it was 90% powder, the matcha had not been whisked properly at all & the bottom of my cup was a mix of strawberry syrup & matcha powder, i came back inside to get a replacement & he told me' no i think you're wrong its the strawberry' theres a clear difference between strawberry syrup & matcha powder.... he kept going on & on about the fact that i was mistaken until another girl with bangs came & told me they'd remake it for me & was sorry for the inconvenience, the new cup he served me had half of the strawberry content there was in the first one but i simply didnt have the energy or the patience to talk to that rude man again, the two girls were truly very nice & polite but that man with his condescending attitude really ruined the experience for me, i wish i could rate it more but compared to the other reviews from my friends i was really disappointed
beautiful location. had a pain au chocolat & a hibiscus fizzy drink, all lovely!
Tommy's has a nice atmosphere good music little corners to sit in, although it's often so busy you have trouble finding a seat. Food is a bit high-priced but it's high quality also & you can find coffees teas drinks & sandwiches pastries.... It's less than a block away from Notre Dame Cathedral & right around the corner from Centaur theater & about three blocks from the old port
The good thing about this restaurant is that it's located just around the corner from the Notre Dame. The inside is beautiful & the seats are plush. The price is touristy (for two drinks + two sandwiches we paid $60). They've definitely gone for quantity over quality with the portions. The coffee was large but very watered down, I'd rather it was half that size & twice as strong. The sandwiches were not the freshest but not bad. The salad confused me.
Had the winner winner chicken dinner sandwich that comes on ciabatta bread & a side salad. Salad dressing was very good & the sandwich was delicious. Some of the tables were quite small & felt a bit cramped. Layout was unique & they had a number of couches on the second floor. Overall it is a nice little cafe with good food & drinks.
A beautiful niche, with plenty of seating, & great decor. You order at the counter & receive your food at the table of your choice. Drinks must be picked up at the counter. The portions are appropriate, & the sandwiches are very good.
Tried Tommy special drink & lavender Matcha tea. Tommy special drink was amazing!!! Loved it. Lavender Matcha tea didn't have lavender taste or smell or anything. Still it taste good! Great customer service & amazing indoor set-up for dine in
Stopped by for an iced matcha. When I leave & start drinking i realize it tastes just like milk with a hint of matcha. So i go back & tell the barista sorry but the drink tastes just like milk, she says she will just add more matcha, I kindly ask to please have another drink made since this one has a lot of milk & ice it'll take a lot more matcha. She refuses, & insists on just adding matcha, then proceeds to taking her empty matcha bowl that just had residue, add some hot water to it without adding any tea, & pouring it in my drink which then melts all the ice. Now I'm enjoying my 9$ iced watered milk with a note of matcha. Thank you.
Poor cafe experience & atmosphere. Staff are rude & ignorant. Came in for a quick coffee, was standing in line with a gentleman in front of me for several minutes with no one taking orders at the take out counter. Suddenly two girls come & line up beside us & the server appears to take their order & ignores us. The gentleman & I politely inform her that we had actually been waiting a while already to order. She looked quite annoyed, & began taking his order (one pastry) & mine, 2 lattes. The girls who came after then ordered. Both of their drinks come out before either my self or the gentleman's orders, which was evidently on purpose as neither employee would look at myself or the gentleman. While waiting on the side (there is NO WHERE) to stand as the cafe is at the back of the restaurant. A kitchen employee comes out & is upset I'm standing in a nook near a garbage can, rolls his eyes, & bumps in to me several times. Another girl waits in the same spot after I move & he repeats the same thing with her. Would not return.
Cute & cozy cafe that makes very good coffee steps away from the Notre Dame Cathedral. It can get packed, but there are barstools by the windows where one can relax & sip drinks in peace while people-watching
The drinks are bland & overpriced. Definitely not a place to come & study as there are little no outlets for your computers or iPads. I think there are better coffee shops you can go too. As a side note, service is good, staff is friendly & the coffee shop itself is cute.
