My absolute favorite cafe for working & hanging out! I ordered takeout for the first time today, & while the food was delicious as always, the packaging opened easily & the salad dressing spilled onto my sandwich. Packing the dressing separately or using stronger boxes would make takeout just as amazing as dining in :)

Great coffee ! I especially like the iced latte during the summer months. They also have great snacks & sandwiches.

I ordered the'Violet' pancakes on Sunday morning without knowing what the dish was meant to look like. I carried the plate upstairs & started searching for a sign of purple but didn't find any. Later that day I was still thinking about my mysterious breakfast & found the actual dish on Instagram. Both the server who took my order & the one who handed me the dish were very sweet, but one of them could have at told me that they were out of ube because now I feel kind of silly, & also I would've rather not have paid $20 for this.

Nothing against the staff, I'm sure they were doing their best to manage things on a weekend morning, & they probably found out they were out of some ingredients after they took my order. My main criticism is that I'm not sure it makes sense to offer such a large menu at such a busy space with just counter service - management might want to reconsider & tighten things up a bit on their end.

The rest of my group were decently satisfied with their orders, but mostly we enjoyed the proximity to Gare Centrale. I might come back in the future, but maybe just for a coffee or a sandwich.

I had a really positive experience at TOMMY's Café. I ordered a hot chocolate & a croissant sandwich. Everything looked fresh & beautifully presented.

After taking a few bites of the salad, I realized that the sandwich contained meat, which I hadn't intended to order. It was my mistake for not checking more carefully when placing my order. I went back to confirm with the employee, & she kindly let me know that it did contain meat. I returned to my seat feeling a bit disappointed with myself for not paying closer attention.

A little while later, the staff member who had served me (Gabrielle) noticed I hadn't eaten the sandwich. She came over, kindly asked if I don't eat meat, & immediately offered to replace it with something I could eat, despite it not being her fault at all.

That small gesture truly made my day. It showed genuine care & attentiveness, & it turned what could have been a disappointing moment into something really meaningful.

It's rare to come across that level of kindness & customer service. I truly appreciated the experience & would definitely recommend this café for its outstanding service.

Pros: multi grain bread is delicious. Sandwich portions are generous. Coffee is good. Seating both downstairs & upstairs. Clean bathroom with no code/key. Near many shops. Cons: food took a while to make. Limited seating during busy time. Heat was on on a warm day.

One of the tuna sandwiches was not wrapped & was open (which is a health hazard), they were out of drinks that were on the menu, no napkins, decor had dust on it & the service was lacking. Never coming here again.
