Occasional downsides include loud music and bar seating that can feel tight, but overall guests leave impressed and eager to return.
Amazingly good Peruvian food, served tapas-style. The calamars épicés (spicy fried calamari) were way better than the standard fried squid with a tomato sauce. The pollo frito (fried chicken) was tender & nicely-seasoned, & the huacatay sauce (a sort-of spicy mayo) served with it was great a nice accent. Finally, the Sandwich Butifarra was something like a bao bun, but filled with BBQ duck, salsa criolla, & hoisin sauce). Really good. I highly recommend this place.
Après avoir prit plusieurs plats en formule tapas pour 4 personnes voilà que notre serveuse vient nous voir après 1h45 que nous devons quitter,car le prochain groupe est arrivé. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de manger un dessert & ça n 'a pas été possible car le patron n a pas voulu même si le prochain groupe était 15 min. D avance. Nous avons dépensé plus de 400$ avec drinks & bouffe. Très décevant, nous sommes allés prendre notre dessert ailleurs & c est évidemment nous retournerons plus à ce restaurant.
This was by far one of the worst restaurant experiences I've been to in a long time. The service was so bad, cocktails looked like they were made by a child(charging 17$), food quality & description was nothing like the menu's description. Waiter had the audacity to ask the person I was eating with where I went after l left to use the restroom. Then when paying the bill I wanted all my change back so I could give the appropriate change waiter says "ya but you're not gonna leave me tip?" Then when I did leave the tip I asked the waiter where was the copy of my receipt. Goes in the garbage can & pulls out my receipt to give to me. Looked at him in disbelief.
The food was excellent but there is no service whatsoever. Never asked if it was good, never asked if we wanted another drink, another dish or a dessert. Had to ask a cook for the bill since all wait staff seemed to be busy ignoring all clients.
Loved this place. Food was delicious. Service quick & very friendly. Really enjoyed watching the chef preparing dishes right across the bar from us. Highly recommend.
Amazing food! Great service! Will be back to try other things. We had the crab causas, octopus anticucho, ceviche & yuca fries. For drinks we had chicha morada mocktails. Everything was so yummy!
