Tiagos on Boulevard des Sources used to be considered a local gem & one of the best Portuguese chicken spots in the West Island.
But under new management, things have taken a massive hit-from sludgy, sticky tables & greasy floors to warm display non functional fridges & food being thrown into microwaves. A look at recent customer reviews shows I'm definitely not the only one noticing how far this place has fallen. It is honestly just not worth time or money anymore unless management takes a deep breath & starts putting in the elbow grease to make this place shine again.
During my visit, things escalated even further: after hearing a microwave ding & asking for a refund, the entire staff walked into the back & completely vanished. The counter was left unattended, kitchen equipment was running, the front doors were wide open, & the dining area was totally deserted.For three full hours-from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM-
I stayed inside the open restaurant to document the situation, maintain safety, & coordinate with non-emergency police dispatch while waiting to see if anyone would return.
Once management arrived I was told to contact UBER support for my pickup issues & any refunds & police told me since its a non emergency & management can do as they please since they own the property the most I can do is just leave a negative review & contact support so here's your negative review & a few photos 📸
Also, to the management of Tiago's-because I'm sure you'll eventually see this-you're welcome for keeping your unlocked restaurant safe from theft for three hours. Sitting in an extremely gross, sticky waiting area for that long was easily one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had
Genuinely what I hope is that management takes action see's that clearly theres alot wrong with the restaurant & everything is in the decline & puts in some elbow grease to change things around & make the place great again .
This place had delicious food they have great recipes but somethings going wrong here maybe I will return in the future & have something positive to say about this place but for now I am not going to bother & I will leave my review.
We ordered & he told us will be ready in 30min, we came back for pickup & waiting 1more hour for our order. The responsible person went to bathroom & dont go out. So weird. Everyone waiting at store to pay or pickup & its one hour he said I am ok & coming.😐😐😐😐 dont waste your time & money there
Food tastes like it was not freshly made. The chicken was dry , french fries were pre cooked ? Salad was good. Bifana sandwich was Not a traditional sandwich , was not great

Ordered through Uber. It took over 1.5 hour to prepare (plus the drive) & half of our order (chicken poutine, natas & extra sauce which we paid for) was missing. The onlu thing we got was the full chicken. We love portuguese chicket & usually go downtown to pick it up. As we live in the West Island, we thought we would try a local restaurant. Unfortunately, the chicken was terrible - definitely not grilled & super dry. We wanted to love it but we didn't & felt very disappointed by the food, by the many missing items after 2 hours wait & by the overall experience.
We have been ordering from here for years, the service was good but clearly there must be a new administration because the quality of the food is not the same. They changed the salad dressing & the fries which used to be my absolute favourite. Chicken was okay but not as it used to. Really disappointed, we have been ordering for years & to see one of our favourite restaurants go down in quality is really too bad. :(
AMAZING food complimented by the owner who is passionate about his business & customers. I was visiting relatives (I'm from Ontario) & dying for an authentic Portuguese chicken dinner. WOW... was I in luck finding Tiagos!
From the moment you walk in the door... the fantastic smell coming from the kitchen envelopes you. Then, you're greeted by the owner who is all smiles & so gracious... a true gift.
The chicken was EXACTLY what I craved. The accompanying salad was fresh & wholesome. There was plenty of food for a very reasonable price. Just when I thought things couldn't get better; I tried a'Churro' for dessert. OUTSTANDING...does not do them justice.
I HIGHLY recommend'treating yourself & friends/family' to a meal from Tiagos. You're first visit... certaily won't be your last.
Definetly won't be mine. I'll be visiting again upon my return to Pierrefonds.

Uber messed up my order, called them they were so helpful & nice. Family run place, great customer service. Just go in & eat! Or pick up directly from them!!
