Absolutely loved this Portuguese chicken! The flavors were incredible; perfectly seasoned with that classic smoky, slightly spicy kick. The meat was juicy & tender. You can really tell it was made with care & authentic ingredients. Definitely one of the best Portuguese chicken dishes I've had. I highly recommend!
Had a bad feeling about this place before trying it, but nonetheless i was desperate for Portuguese chicken so decided to test my luck. Turns out my gut feeling was right: this is a sorry excuse for a Portuguese chicken restaurant. Indeed it can hardly hold a candle to spots like Braseiro's closer to downtown. The chicken is not authentically marinated, & while it initially appears nicely charred does not bear the signature charred taste of frango & is in fact slightly undercooked. Pure artifice. Not to mention they are definitely using Uncle Ben's minute rice which imo basically tastes like animal fodder.
The current owners of Tiagos took over what was once known as Les 3 Maria. When asked if they kept the original recipe, the reply was no, & that they had instead'perfected it.' Of course this is not true. Blinded by false esteem they have produced a highly heterodox & disappointing product. These guys are talking about franchising in Laval, Vaudreuil & Ile-Perrot, which would be a humiliating mistake. My advice would be to focus on keeping things in order at home before branching out. Tiagos is the definition of'it ayt, you hungry ain't ya?'
Not recommended at all . Changed owner!
Very bad service ! For a take out I wasted an extra 1/2 hour waiting .. promised to be ready at 6h left at 6h30. Promised us a dessert to compensate. Arrived at home nothing in the bag ! I used to go to this restaurant twice per month, very tasty food ! Now really the food & the dressing of the chicken & salad taste horrible !
💯 worth giving this place a try!!! I was pleasantly surprised that there is 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Portuguese chicken place in the West Island! The portions are huge for the price.
Wow!!!!! This resto is not a 4.4 ⭐, it's a real 10!!!! We were there last night & it is simply the best chicken I have tasted outside of Portugal!!!! The owner is a super cool dude that has taken over since June & I believe that if to he reviews were not lumped in with the previous restaurant, it would be a 5⭐ hands down!!!! The portions are incredible, the price is amazing & the food....danggggggggg so freaking great!!!!
Fire! Went as a family of 4 & had the full chicken meal. Honestly, this place deserves a higher rating/more reviews than it has. Everything, from the chicken, the potatoes, fries, & salad, was delicious. Also, you can't say this often anymore, but great value for money. Highly recommend
Juicy, flavorful chicken, amazing sauce, & the BEST fries. I've been here many times & it never disappoints. Highly recommend!
Owner is very chill, great hospitality & their chicken had amazing flavou
Always fresh, Portuguese sauce mild or hot a knockout! Recommend the half plate of chicken.
Used to be some of the best chicken in the West Island. Not sure what has happened last few months, but it's now inedible. Our friends who were big fans have had similar observations. Today's chicken looked/tasted as if cooked the day before & microwaved. No beautiful colour & char. Tough as leather to eat. Inexplicably undercooked along bone.
This used to be a weekly staple.l but unfortunately will have to go elsewhere.
Small restaurant with good food, great prices & service that is friendly, bilingual & does their utmost to please their customers. We were visiting the West Island & were craving Portuguese chicken. We found this place on Google. We were pleasantly surprised, & more than satisfied. We definitely recommend this establishment. Ask for Arun!
*Note: this place is best for takeout, but there are a few tables for dining-in too. :)
Chicken is great. One of the Best Piri Piri sauces I've had.
All their chicken items are halal & cooked on a separate grill from other items.
Best Portuguese chicken in the West Island.
Family pack, fries & salad included.
Perfect for the family of 4 & left overs.
Will be back for sure
Found this little gem a few months ago & can't get enough. It's a half hour drive either way to pick up but well worth it. The chicken is amazing, potatoes out of this world & the rice is delicious. The peri peri sauce is the best I ever tasted. Highly recommend recommend
Great value. Loved the sauce & the chicken. The salad was generous & super fresh fresh,
Generous portion.
