Review Summary

The veg bite is described as a small, welcoming vegetarian Indian restaurant with a cozy, homely vibe and clean, hygienic surroundings. Reviewers praise authentic, comforting flavors that feel homemade and fresh, with many dishes such as thali, paneer curries, momos, samosas, and kulchas highlighted as standouts, along with gulab jamun and kheer. The staff is described as friendly and attentive, contributing to a warm atmosphere that makes the place feel like a cultural experience in addition to good cooking. There is mention of fusion options that blend Indian spices with Western ideas and of beverages like gur wali chai being a popular accompaniment. While some comments note longer preparation times or the restaurant being toward the edge of town, overall the prices are considered reasonable and the quality consistent, with many customers indicating they would return and recommending the venue for authentic Indian vegetarian cuisine in the area.

Really tasty & fresh vegetarian cuisines, they may take time in serving but everything is absolutely worth the wait!

We tried their tandoori Chaap, Paneer Tikka, Paneer Paratha, Kadahi Paneer, Sarson Saag, Dal Makhani, Roti, Kheer & Gulab Jamun.

Overall food was good. Butter was floating on literally every item. They even accommodate our spice preference which made the food even more delicious.

The only downside is their long preparation time & the restaurant is at the end of Montreal island, which is far from the main city neighbourhoods.

Pricing is also very efficient. It's a vegetarian restaurant. Definitely recommend it.
