The Keg Steakhouse + Bar opened the doors of its first restaurant in 1971 in Vancouver. Since then, The Keg has expanded across Canada and the US to include over 100 locations. Although its name and décor have changed over time, the dining experience has always stayed consistent. Overall good atmosphere with food well done. Service was friendly & efficient, not rushed despite the volume of guests in the restaurant. Dropped one star though, due to an incident which involved being charged an extra dish when going over our bill. When we called our waitress, she already knew what the issue was before we expressed ourselves. We found that suspicious. Otherwise, the food was tasty. We ordered the beef nachos & the keg burger. Prices were decent with good portions. The nachos was big enough for 2 people as main meal or 1 person with a generous appetite. Atmosphere is good but may be deemed on the darker side for some. Volume-wise: not too loud, you're able to have a conversation with your dining companion(s). Recommend making reservations.View more

My expectations where higher. We were a group of 8 & everyone found their experience ordinary. Two of the group have been a few times & they were also deceived. 4 appetizers weren't available. The stuffed potatoes were a deception. They pretty much tasted like it was only mashed potatoes that were put into the skin. My filet mignon (I asked for rare got medium rare ish) it was dry & tasteless. The service was very ordinary & the restaurant was 1/4 full by the time we were sat for our reservation. Services were long. All our drinks were dry by the time the asked if anyone wanted a 2nd one. I will not detour to go back, but if I'm following a group Ill give it a 2nd chanceView more

Nous avons soupé au lounge, les sièges sont désuets (defoncés) & les banquettes pas confortables. Je n'ai jamais mangé dans un restaurant aussi mal assis. Nous en avons fait part à la serveuse, elle nous disait que la direction était au courant mais aucunes actions. La nouriture était bonne, le mal de dos moins. Décevant pour une chaîne de resto comme le KEG.View more

I really enjoyed the meal. The meats had great flavor, definitely high-quality products. Service was extremely fast, overall nice experience. Expect to pay around 75$ per person(2024). For a special occasion, this is a nice place.View more

Wonderful place with very good food & not crazy expensive,but the best was service by our waitress Claudine who was so nice & professional , it was absolute pleasureto be served by her. Second attempt to go yesterday 1dec23 gets 0 stars: When i called for reservations, she hung up on me when i asked for a table IN ENGLISH. When i tried to call again, no answer, nor a call back.
