The Keg Steakhouse + Bar opened the doors of its first restaurant in 1971 in Vancouver. Since then, The Keg has expanded across Canada and the US to include over 100 locations. Je fréquente régulièrement le Keg à la Place Ville-Marie & à Laval. J'y suis un client assez régulier, qui ne lésine pas sur le pourboire & qui est facile à servir. Arrivé au Keg Ville-Marie, en tant que personne qui dîne souvent seule, on me trouve toujours une place au bar malgré l'achalandage. À Laval, on me dit simplement qu'il n'y a pas de place, alors que le bar comporte plusieurs petits espaces disponibles. Aucun effort n'est fait de la part des employés. L'autre jour, on devait me téléphoner ou me texter dès qu'une place se libérait, mais je n'ai jamais reçu de nouvelle. La dernière fois, les employés étaient encore plus nonchalants. Bref, l'accueil n'est pas celui du Keg d'Ottawa, de Montréal ou de Saint-Bruno - tristement. Je n'y irai tout simplement plus.View more

Great service, great food, the staff was nice & funny. The calamari entree was AWESOME. perfectly cooked. even the bread that they brought to the table was hot & fresh. the prime rib was delicious & so was the chicken. well seasoned, juicy, & just full of flavor. Price was great for the quality of food that you got.View more

Des bons souvenirs du Keg & un an sans être revenu. Serai sûrement 5ans sans y revenir. Assez so-so! Cuisson de 2 sur 4 viandes pas à point, les plats arrivent trop tôt, le vin trop tard.... décevant!View more

Friendly efficient service, very accommodating, dimmed the lights for us & let us spread out our order a bit. Lobster bisque was delicious. Bread is worth getting, very soft, especially good with the house butter. Blue cheese filet was alright, I think I prefer the oscar. Cauliflower mash was better in Pointe Claire last year. Black & Blue Margarita, Bord de Mer, & Blackberry Daiquiri were all delicious cocktails. The balcony is a little too closed for my liking, the Pointe-Claire one has a better design with more uncovered area.View more

Last night we were at the keg laval to celebrate 2 birthdays. We usually have all our celebrations at the keg. This is now the 3rd visit in a row that I have to send back a meal. I ordered my usual 10oz filet mignon, cooked medium. I received meat that was just about well done. I sent it back only to have the whole table completely finish their meals before mine came back. This second piece of meat was well done around the perimeter & nearly raw in the center. I give up! I'm very disappointed. The service was horrible, as if the waiter just didn't care. Hardly ever came to the table. Another person at the table ordered the roast beef. Inedible, fat & nearly raw. His was replaced quickly with another more acceptable piece. We have been coming to the keg for many years. Last time I sent back a rib steak & the time before that also a filet mignon, also 10oz. Is it the cooks fault? I don't want to lay blame but something is not right. Also sub-par service from the waiter! We used to love coming to your restaurant but after last night's experience I'm not sure if it's the right thing to do. This is the third bad experience.View more

Quelle belle soirée pour la fête d'un ami! Nous étions assis au bar du Keg à Laval & le service de Thomas ainsi que de l'autre personne qui l'aidait au bar (dont je n'ai pas le nom) était excellent. Même si Thomas était très occupé, il prenait le temps de discuter un peu avec nous & s'assurait que tout était à notre goût. Nous avons chacun mangé un steak baseball saignant (mon ami avec des frites & moi avec la toujours excellente pomme de terre Monte-Carlo), avec en plus dans mon cas la croûte de bleu, & le steak tout comme la cuisson étaient parfaits. La sangria faite par Thomas (une rosée & une rouge) était aussi un vrai délice, essayez-les! C'est ce que j'aime du Keg : c'est toujours la même expérience culinaire tout comme avec le service comme ils ont tout standardisé. C'est pourquoi on n'est jamais déçus quand on y va! Merci finalement au gérant Pierre-Alexandre qui a rendu notre soirée encore plus parfaite, comme si c'était possible, en nous offrant quelque chose pour la fête de mon ami. Super service, super bouffe & prix raisonnables, on serait fou de s'en passer!View more
