C’est dans le Vieux-Montréal, juste au sud du quartier financier que se trouve Le Farsides. Dans leur plus récent projet, John Edward Gumbley (Bord’Elle) et l’équipe Jegantic dévoilent une version huppée et rafraîchissante des bars et restaurants exotiques où on définit les saveurs des rives thaïlandaises qui s’effondrent dans les lointaines plages occidentales de la cuisine hawaïenne. une combinaison somptueuse de délicatesses thaïlandaises et hawaïennes. couplant des saveurs familières avec un caractère sophistiqué. C’est notre célèbre et primé chef Athiraj Phrasavath qui présente notre menu qui comprend aussi une section végétalienne, exclusivement concocté par nul autre que le gagnant de MasterChef USA 2017, Dino Angelo Luciano.
Le Farsides introduit non seulement une approche unique dans sa cuisine, mais vise également à surprendre avec une toute nouvelle image du bar Tiki. Notre programme de mixologie comporte une douzaine d’interprétations modernes de cocktails classiques que vous ne vous attendriez normalement à trouver que dans les Îles.
Entrer dans Le Farsides sera comme entrer dans notre version d’une ruelle de Brooklyn circa 1992. Vous apercevrez de géants murs de briques ornés de graffitis, des issues de secours, et croyez-le ou non, notre propre terrain de basket-ball peint à la main. Ajoutez une touche d’exotisme avec une jungle au rythme du hip-pop des années 80 & 90 et des souvenirs nostalgiques de l’âge d’or du rap, et vous voilà chez Le Farsides. Montréal vous ne nous connaissez pas encore, mais nous vous connaissons très bien.

I made reservations for my birthday & was seated practically next to the bathrooms, & I asked to be moved & was told they're all booked, find it so hard to believe considering it had two floors. I should've left. The food on top of it was mediocre, but the ambiance was nice. I don't think I'll go backVoir plus

Deuxième expérience négative, j'ai toujours trouvé que c'etais un bel endroit & les drinks sont excellent. Cependant pour la nourriture, on repassera. Mon Steak était très froid (comme si il avait été cuit il y a 30 minutes), Le pad thaï sentais mauvais, & le gout assez moyen. J'ai pas l'intention d'y retourner.Voir plus

My experience at this restaurant was not great. The music was really loud, making it hard to speak to the people you were sitting next to, & it just kept getting louder as the evening went on. The service was slow, at best; it took hours to get our food, & waiting between courses was a painful drag. Then, when the food finally arrived, every course was disappointing. I had the Spring Rolls for an appetizer, which was a pitiful plate of two meager rolls but I will say it was not the worst taste of the night. For the main, I had the Kalbifornia Love ribs; now these absolutely fell off the bone in every tender bite, which I did like, but the vegetables were hard as a rock & hard to chew, which made a bad pairing. Additionally, my plate came with a complimentary hair on it, which put me off my meal when I saw it. To go with my dinner, I had a pitcher of the Malibu Thang sangria, which looked & tasted like yogurt & didn't seem to have any alcohol in it. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing & I can't see myself recommending friends to check it out.Voir plus

Great vibe! Great food! The flank steak plate with fries was amazing. The meat was very tender & the fries were so tasty. The sauce on top is so good too. Really good! Would definitely recommend this place! The mango passion fruit cheesecake is amazing as well. Great service.Voir plus

We had the pleasure of receiving excellent service, from Justine, & delicious food. I was skeptical about the loaded fries, thinking that the avocado & fries mix would be a bad attempt to mimic nachos, but that combination worked surprisingly well. My experience here tonight was less than stellar. Coming in with the expectation of trying something new & fun, we only wanted appetizers & drinks. I was excited to try something new, & I love Thai food!!!! Our server was overly bubbly, but her tone & demeanor changed as soon as she realized we were not there for the full menu & paying over 100+. The food was good, but small portions. However, the drink was pathetic. Mostly ice with little alcohol ( the picture below shows how much ice was in the cup). Not what we were expecting at all! The place has fun vibes, but you're paying for it. The waitress shouldn't have treated us the way she did, with an attitude about us coming in for an experience, I hope she regretted it once she realized we were place hopping & visiting from out of Province. I was also disappointed that their menu had changed from what I could see online & that our waitress didn't even know her menu well. Went in to try the duck tacos & not available. Asked about a dish, & she had no answers for us. Will not be back & not recommending.Voir plus
