Thamada is a great spot for date night in Montreal. The vibe is cool & relaxed, & the service was excellent. We loved the mango salad , satay skewers & the stir-fried beef with basil, chili, jasmine rice, & a crispy fried egg . Everything was delicious & well balanced. Dessert was just as good, We had the Thai roti with vanilla ice cream. A really enjoyable meal from start to finish

Frist time i came here.But i didn't like
1: we have'hair' in rice bowl,we didn't eat them.Be carefully.
2: we waited for 50minutes for 3 foods? So long time.
Trop trop trop bonne nourriture, belle ambiance. I loved the deco & la musique était ON! La qualité de la nourriture on TOP! Mention spéciale pour les desserts!!! Mango sticky rice😋😋😋 crème brûlée coco 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
Disappointed that there was no sticky rice - what is Thai food without sticky rice? Italian places never run out of pasta, do they? Greek restaurants always have souvlaki, right? Chalet BBQ always has chicken..., so what gives? Not acceptable!
Simple menu, which I prefer. I am not thai but I have tried many thai restaurants & I did order few times from here & we ate at the restaurant too. For desserts, mango sticky rice is good but their Roti with ice cream is very good!
We ordered papaya salad & chicken wings for appetizers, Beef Panang curry & Kha Prao Moo for main & roti for dessert. The food was overall good, but we were disappointed by menu that has been reduced & changed for some reasons. I was expecting to have more variations as per the menu found on their website, but the actual menu was much smaller. I especially wanted to try their dumplings & Khao Soi, both were not there anymore. Neither was mango sticky rice (this one was probably removed because of the season). So I'd recommend you to inform yourself of the currently available menu before going. Another downside was the waiting time between the appetizers & the main menu. We waited for about a half an hour after finishing the first 2 plates. They did a nice little birthday surprise for my boyfriend though, thanks a lot!
The food is great here but I recommend just ordering delivery because from the second you walk in it is chaotic, even if you made a reservation before. The staff was on edge & stressed which didn't help the experience. The drinks & appetizers take longer than the main courses to come out so if you do eat here be sure not to order your main course at the same time as your drinks or appetizers. I'm also not sure why they removed the rice from the Pad Kha Prao, so now you have to order additional rice on the side & also they removed the spring rolls which were the best in Montreal in my opinon.
green curry good, pad see ew was good but also tasted kind of chemically. $4 for a bowl of rice is extortionate. portions small for price, took 30-40 min for two main plates to come out
Very tasty food, however very spicy. Mango sticky rice was very delicious & particular. Oysters were very small in my opinion. Overall , good experience!🥰 Thank you.

Dear Steven & Dom, Tonight was amazing. The food came super quick & was so tasty!!! We got the pad sew, Tom yum soup, pad Thai, peanut dumplings, mango sticky rice & the crepe! Such a great vibe, service was so friendly. We will definetly be coming back!! Love Dalia, Maxine & Arielle's x2
Vibes 10/10, overall great experience, started with 3 shareable snack plates then shared 3 main plates. Muay Thai / Bangkok Iced Tea were really good + the Sancerre they had was a good crisp bottle to pair with the spicy punches!! Also can't go wrong w/ the mango sticky rice ! Shoutout to the owners
Came here for late dinner. We had reserved a table for 4 but they seated us at a a small table for 3. They insisted it was for 4 people, but to me, if a small square table has 3 sides (1 side is against a wall), it's for 3 people. Nonetheless, I found the resto very nice & cozy. Friendly service. I had the Lost in Thailand mocktail. Loved it. We then shared the appetizer platter for 4 (4 flower-shaped dumplings, 4 fried lucky dumplings, a papaya salad & 3 satay chicken skewers). It was ok. Not great. We mostly liked the fried lucky dumplings. Also, it makes no sense to have a platter for 4 with only 3 skewers. For the main dish, we had the Pla Ma-Nao (sea bass) & Kha-Prao Moo (minced pork). It was ok. Not exceptional. For dessert, we had the sticky rice mango which was delicious. In all, nice restaurant but a bit overpriced for what they serve.
Thai is one of my favorite cuisines & this place is now near the top. Their little side patio is really nice & service was great. We started with Moon Paper, a fried pastry with pork & shrimp, which was so good & the side of veggies was excellent (but note that it is quite spicy 🥵 ). The main dish was the braised panang short ribs which were excellent & came with a side of rice. We enjoyed the food so much we had to try another dish, so we had the Sai Oua, grilled spicy pork sausage, which was ok but of all the dishes our least favorite.
Overall we had such a great time we can't wait to come back.

We (party of 7) had a great time at Thammada. We sat on the summer terrace, but the inside looked very cute as well. The servers were very attentive & kind, & the food & drinks were honestly SO GOOD. i have eaten at most Thai restaurants in Montreal, & this is my new favourite. We ordered (I think) 7 starters & dishes to share between us, & then a mango sticky rice per person. The dishes are not huge, but I was pleasantly sated. I definitely *could* have eaten more (but then might have felt gross). I'm already trying to figure out when I can next go back!
The food is tasty, very close to what you would find on the streets of Thailand. Some items, on the menu are grossly overpriced, a single portion of white rice $4. That's just my opinion... Overall I'd recommend it.
Absolutely loved Thammada. Ordered a shared sashimi salmon, the signature pad thaï & the beef ribs & finally shared a cool mango on hot coconut rice dessert each dish was outstanding. Service & staff was great.
Outstanding food!! & very cozy vibes with RnB music in the background. This place is highly recommended. This is what we ate (4 ppl):
Moo krob
Khao-soi gai
Khao-prao moo khai-dao
Papaya pokpok
Moo ping
Gyo pedd
Poh pia tord pork or veggie
Pad thai chicken
Thai shrimp with basil rice
Dessert: Rotti with ice cream (to die for)
