The service is excellent, always attentive, even when the place is full. I have tried several dishes & they were all amazing : Green papaya salad. Kha prao moo, Penang curry & green curry. I appreciate that they can make dishes less spicy if desired. The place is warm & cosy. I love the pictures on the walls. Did I say the cocktails are amazing? I just love this restaurant. Try it you won't regret it.
Just had the most unreal dining experience at Thamada, & wow… this place is pure magic. From the moment you walk in, you're wrapped in the scent of lemongrass, chili, & all the warm, inviting vibes you'd hope for. 🌿🔥
The food? Next level. The Pad Kra Pao had that perfect holy basil kick with a fried egg so golden it deserves its own spotlight. 🍳 The Tom Yum Goong was bright, tangy, & soul-warming. It felt like a hug in a bowl. & don't even get me started on the Massaman Curry… velvety, rich, & melt-in-your-mouth tender. Pure comfort with a touch of elegance. 5 stars ong no cap.
Drinks are just as dreamy, a lemongrass spritzer that refreshes like a breeze in Bangkok, & Thai iced tea so smooth it's basically dessert in a glass.
& the server was the most professional man I've seen. Kind, great, & he could do tricks whilst preparing the drinks that I've never seen before. It's as if Dionysus the god of alcohol himself possessed the man.
Don't listen to the Nirvana reviewer, he lied in his review & doesn't know what he's talking about. I recommend Thammada for any fan of Thai food!
The Panang curry is simply incredible. Loved the fried tofu as well. Plus the terrasse on a pedestrian street is perfect. Bit on the expensive side but worth it
Overpriced Thai food, inattentive service, & an atmosphere that feels a bit like you are not welcome. We went on a Tuesday around 8 pm-I understand staff wants to close between 9-10, but for $100 for two curries, a small salad, & two non-alcoholic beverages I'd hope the service is attentive to the few guests.
The worst were Thai leaves that started to visibly to brown in my curry. No gonna visit again.
We ordered papaya salad & chicken wings for appetizers, Beef Panang curry & Kha Prao Moo for main & roti for dessert. The food was overall good, but we were disappointed by menu that has been reduced & changed for some reasons. I was expecting to have more variations as per the menu found on their website, but the actual menu was much smaller. I especially wanted to try their dumplings & Khao Soi, both were not there anymore. Neither was mango sticky rice (this one was probably removed because of the season). So I'd recommend you to inform yourself of the currently available menu before going. Another downside was the waiting time between the appetizers & the main menu. We waited for about a half an hour after finishing the first 2 plates. They did a nice little birthday surprise for my boyfriend though, thanks a lot!
Food is super. Great ambiance & service. You have to try the red curry
green curry good, pad see ew was good but also tasted kind of chemically. $4 for a bowl of rice is extortionate. portions small for price, took 30-40 min for two main plates to come out
BEST EVER red curry & Seafood Tom yum 😋😋😋😋😋 Top quality! Cute restaurant, cozy. Great service. Reasonably priced for the quality of the meals. Still dreaming of my red curry dish 🤩Can't wait to go back!!! & sit on their terrace next time 🙏🏼 5 ⭐️
Sooo delicious, try the start plate 😋 & sew beef , curry beef, fried stry chicken 👍👍👍
In my opinion, it is the best Thai restaurant with a great service. Their curry panang dish is a must try. Highly recommend!

Pad Thai Maan Gung (= shrimps) $26
Pad See-Ew beef $25
Clean-tasting.
Nice street.
Worth exploring again. (e.g. Kha-Prao Moo?, green curry chicken?, Moo Ping pork belly skewers?, ...)
Les plats sont très savoureux
Les rouleaux bien croustillants
Le curry de poulet était délicieux
The overall experience was mediocre! The ambiance was beautiful I absolutely loved it but the food was tasteless! Everyone's meal was lacking salt & spice in general. My green curry had three chilli sign next to it on the menu but wasn't even a little spicy & had no salt at all! The pad sew didn't have any spice either we all had to add hot sauce just for some flavour! Our spicy margarita cocktail was actually the only spicy thing & even that was actually way too spicy that it was hard to enjoy the drink! The wings we got for the appetizers were really good & that was perfect amount of flavour! The waitress was nice but you can tell she had a little bit of an attitude, but I also found the staff was very disorganized as they made a mistake bringing out someone else's meal 2 times to our table. & the last time she brought three meals that were ours, after 5 minutes she realized it was a mistake & she took it directly to the table it was supposed to go to which I found unsanitary because she can't guarantee that we didn't eat from it....
Another tasty meal! Green curry out of this world! Thanks to the staff to include a feee dessert (ice cream & crepes) to make up for the wait. Thank you again!
Pour moi ça était toujours le meuilleur restaurant Thaïlandais de Montréal. Mes plats favoris sont : zapzap ailles de poulet, paneng curry & padthai :)
Good atmosphere, friendly staff & better yet, delicious food (papaya salad, satay chicken, green curry). Will go back...
Cool place great food; however the sirloin curry entree was underwhelming; super nice staff; had a great evening
Hello,
It was our first time there. Service was very good & our server was very nice. The food was really good but not hot enough. Our Street Platter was delicious & hot but our green curry, pad thai & ground pork dish, also delicious, were lukewarm at best, we actually sent the pad thai back to reheat! Maybe they are too busy for the staff they have...people waiting for take-out waited a long time. I will definitely come back though as it was delicious. thank you .
The food & service is very good, but the portions are too small. My rich green curry chicken had about 4 paper thin white chicken pieces, $21.
