The value is unbeatable. For $15-17 you get a huge plate with rice, lentil soup, naan, & three curries & meal is filling. The butter chicken was really good & the bread too was fresh. Actually the food was consistent all the time. The place needs to be more cleaned, but still 4 stars.
Service was very confusing & the food was just OK. Won't be coming back here with all the other options for really great Indian food in Montreal. I had nausea after too but too early to say it's food poisoning. The flavours were just a bit off for my taste.
My fav Indian spot in downtown Mtl. Always fresh & the Naan is so yummy 👌
BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN MTL!
My friend recommend me this place & I'm so happy I discovered it! Amazing portions for the cheap thalis, 15$ for non vegetarian (2 meats, 1 veg) & 14$ for vegetarian (3 veg) exploding with aromas & spicy flavours. They are huge & come with rice & a huge fresh naan. The ladies who work there are super sweet!
I would recommend to get the lamb: it's sooo delicious that at my second time there I took twice of it for my non vegetarian thali that comes with 2 meats & 1 vegetable option that you can choose. YUM
Perfect for price portion for students people finish to work u have a date u wanna bring yoir son to try indian food all these occasion fit
Family owned vibe, the restaurant as a good flow of custumers. I ordered a vegetarian Thali & was really satisfied with my meal. Service was quick & friendly, the pretty cashier was fun to talk to. My friend ordered lamb & buttered chicken & really enjoyed his meal too. One of the best place to go for a value wise indian restaurant in Montreal💪
Yummyyyyyyyyy😍😍😍😍
Portions are very generous & can't stop ordering it, my fav indian restaurant! Their lamb samosa are insane! 🤤🤤🤤🤤
Been coming here for many years. Consistently very tasty, affordable, quick Indian food. Staff is friendly & efficient :)
Delicious food, a lot of varying, high quality flavors. Best Indian cuisine in town. Would return for more.
Excellent Indian restaurant that I've known for over a decade . I definitely recommend this one .
Thali is one of my favorite Indian places for a quick meal. The food is always ready, all you have to do is choose what you want. This is a family owned restaurant, the flavours are authentic & feel like it was home made. The only issue is the consistency, the food can taste slightly different from time to time depends on who is the chef on that day.
It is very cheap compared to other places in Montreal, for 15$ you can get a big plate with rice, lentil soup, naan, & 3 curries of your choice. My go to are the butter chicken & the palak paneer.
One of the great Indian meal that i ate in my life. I sent there each time when i go to Montréal. Really good service too. What a nice nice tiny restaurant close to St-Catherine. A service in french could be complete for a perfect note.
Le meilleur resto indien a Montréal. Super service tout sourire & attentionné. Super petit resto près de Ste-Catherine. Un service en français complèterait pour une note parfaite.
Always the best good service. I've been coming here for years & the food has never disappointed. I feel like a lot of negative reviews are from people who are from Indian countries who are here in Canada & aren't happy the food isn't as authentic as back home. Regardless of it not being as authentic as some hole in the wall that you're used to back home, it's good food.
I have been visiting this place since 2010. Good place in downtown to have Indian food
Thali is my go-to for Indian street food. I always get the non-vegetarian thali with butter chicken, palak paneer, & lamb curry-but the vegetarian options are just as good! I also love their garlic naan & samosas, & the staff is always super friendly.
Simply best value in the Concordia area for good thali. I am no expert in Indian food but I was quite happy. Just the right balance of spiciness & flavor. My regular place when I feel the craving for good Indian.
