Family owned vibe, the restaurant as a good flow of custumers. I ordered a vegetarian Thali & was really satisfied with my meal. Service was quick & friendly, the pretty cashier was fun to talk to. My friend ordered lamb & buttered chicken & really enjoyed his meal too. One of the best place to go for a value wise indian restaurant in Montreal💪

Thali is one of my favorite Indian places for a quick meal. The food is always ready, all you have to do is choose what you want. This is a family owned restaurant, the flavours are authentic & feel like it was home made. The only issue is the consistency, the food can taste slightly different from time to time depends on who is the chef on that day.
It is very cheap compared to other places in Montreal, for 15$ you can get a big plate with rice, lentil soup, naan, & 3 curries of your choice. My go to are the butter chicken & the palak paneer.

One of the great Indian meal that i ate in my life. I sent there each time when i go to Montréal. Really good service too. What a nice nice tiny restaurant close to St-Catherine. A service in french could be complete for a perfect note.

Le meilleur resto indien a Montréal. Super service tout sourire & attentionné. Super petit resto près de Ste-Catherine. Un service en français complèterait pour une note parfaite.

Always the best good service. I've been coming here for years & the food has never disappointed. I feel like a lot of negative reviews are from people who are from Indian countries who are here in Canada & aren't happy the food isn't as authentic as back home. Regardless of it not being as authentic as some hole in the wall that you're used to back home, it's good food.
