Review Summary

Thali is widely regarded as a go-to spot for authentic and affordable Indian cuisine, frequently praised for its generous portions, fresh naan, and consistent flavors. While many patrons highlight the butter chicken, lamb, and vegetarian thali options as standout choices, the experience is often defined by the friendly and accommodating service provided by the staff. Although the restaurant is highly valued for its value and taste, some feedback suggests that the physical space could benefit from renovations and increased cleanliness, and while service is typically efficient, occasional inconsistencies in food quality and staff interactions have been noted by a minority of visitors.

The food is fresh late evenings if your ordering non-veg thali in the afternoons never try chicken curry & butter chicken coz you would probably get rotten chicken

Good pricing & I went there multiple times because I like Indian food. But, every time the I visited here, the vegetables/meat of curries were not fresh. & that is the dealbreaker. Re to owner: I tried it again, & it is not more than 2 stars. Glad you like movies, I bet you would love to rate your own restaurant too.

Possibly the best samosas I've enjoyed in Montreal. Good value for money, food was informally good & fresh. Definitely not the prettiest place, so do takeout if it's date night, but great for a quick bite.
