falafel(123) pita(106) fresh(45) sandwich(36) shawarma(33) hummus(23) recommend(19) kebab(19) frais(19) sauce(18) chicken(17) sabich(17)i was super excited to try this place given the lovely reviews. as a food lover & enthusiast for mediterranean food, unfortunately, this did not hit the spot. the pita was yummy, but the chicken was dry & flavorless. the spicy like sauce with the fries was delicious though. the decor inside with the trailing pothos is lovely & very friendly service. the food just fell flat for me.
This place deserves so much love. I got a Shawarma Pita & it was 🤌🤌🤌. The pickled chillies with the Mango sauce was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
If you're into Mediterranean food, this is the spot! They claim to have the best falafel in Montreal-& it's true 😁.
I also loved the kebab. The ingredients were super fresh, the staff were friendly, & the freshly baked bread was amazing. Probably the best & freshest pitas I've had in Montreal.
Totally worth the price!
The lemonade they recommended was good-nice & sour-but a bit too sweet for our taste 😅.
Personnel charmant, nourriture généreuse & cadre splendide
TESFA is a true gem in the neighborhood. The small 15-seater unassuming restaurant serves excellent falafels & a variety of sandwiches for both meat lovers & vegetarians alike.
The falafels are truly fantastic; crunchy on the outside with a soft fluffy interior that almost crumbles. The salad is vibrant, fresh, zingy, & surprisingly filling. The falafels & the pita chips offer the perfect textural contrast.
The staff are very welcoming & humble, & it is wonderful to see them operate seemlessly in such a clean & well-organized kitchen.
All in all, I highly enjoyed my experience with TESFA & will be coming back for everything else that they have to offer.
Really good pitas with a hole in the wall atmosphere. Great choices on the menu, too.
Took the sheed & kebab sandwiches with fries(not a fan of the fries) & a side of falafels. Everything was delicious but the falafels were outstanding! The place is small & there was no AC but the service was the food make it worth it! ( can get crowded)
I guess we were unlucky but the lafalel pita was bland & barely had any sauce. The tables & seats were not clean & we had to wipe them to sit & eat
Best falafel pita I have had in my life - wish they were in NYC.
