TESFA is consistently praised for bright, fresh Mediterranean flavors, with falafel pita, sabich pita, shawarma and kebabs highlighted as standout choices; the hummus is silky and the pitas are fluffy and freshly baked, portions are generous and the value is good. The restaurant also showcases vegetarian and vegan options, making it a popular spot for meat lovers and plant-based eaters alike. The atmosphere is described as cozy and welcoming, often feeling like a neighborhood gem, though the space is small and seating can be tight, especially during peak hours. Service is repeatedly praised for friendliness and warmth, while a few visits mention slow service when busy or occasional takeout packaging issues and a wrong order, which some note as solvable with a quick fix. Overall, TESFA is regarded as one of the best places for Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food in the area, valued for freshness, consistency and genuine, generous hospitality that keeps people coming back.
Golden, crispy falafel tucked into a warm, fluffy pita, loaded with crunchy cabbage, fresh chopped salad, tangy pickles, & a generous swipe of creamy hummus & tahini. Finished with a hit of homemade spicy sauce for that perfect kick.
Served with hot, salty fries & a bright blood orange soda on the side, fresh, messy, & absolutely irresistible. #TESFA #Montreal
The to-go bag was held closed by staples, so when I opened the bag, the bag split apart & everything dropped to the ground 😬 they need to work on their to go packaging for sure.
The wrong order was tasty though lol

Staff is so kind & delicious food. Service was a tad slow because they were very busy, but how can you be mad when the staff is so nice! Totally recommend.
