The place is small so finding a table may or may not be an issue depending when you go.
Great experience at TESFA! My friend & I ordered two chicken shawarmas along with hummus & four falafels, & everything was excellent. Fresh, well-seasoned, & clearly made with care. The customer service was just as strong as the food. The staff & cooks were kind, hardworking, & welcoming throughout our visit. We also had the pleasure of meeting the co-founder, Efrem, who was genuinely warm & passionate about the restaurant. This is a place that values quality, hospitality, & teamwork. Looking forward to coming back again!
Update: Ordered again & we are back to the original version!
Always my to go place for take out but today the food tasted way different than usual. There was too much cabbage in my falafel pita, next, too much tomato & cucumber moisture that made the bread so soggy from inside that I could not even finish it. They did not even put their usual sauce inside today. My boyfriend ordered the shawarma & said the chicken tasted not fresh. Whatever changed here should be undone right away!

A small, plant filled restaurant that is big on flavour. I love the Kebab bowl, it's so tasty with fresh veggies & well seasoned beef. The pickles are a surprise every time but they work. The great music & friendly staff make for a very pleasant experience.
Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, & everything was served fresh & clean. The service was excellent, friendly, attentive, & welcoming. A great experience all around, & I can't wait to come back!
Best falafel pita in Montreal! Falafel are tasty & perfectly crispy, pita is fluffy & warm, & toppings are generous & fresh. & the staff is always so friendly. We'll come back here whenever we're in the plateau. 11/10.

Worth the 2 & a half hours drive from Ottawa. Fresh Hummus. Amazing spices. Fresh made Falafel & over all great presentation.
Very affordable prices! Our first stop every time we're in Montreal! Must must visit!

If you're into Mediterranean food, this is the spot! They claim to have the best falafel in Montreal-& it's true 😁.
I also loved the kebab. The ingredients were super fresh, the staff were friendly, & the freshly baked bread was amazing. Probably the best & freshest pitas I've had in Montreal.

The lemonade they recommended was good-nice & sour-but a bit too sweet for our taste 😅.
TESFA is a true gem in the neighborhood. The small 15-seater unassuming restaurant serves excellent falafels & a variety of sandwiches for both meat lovers & vegetarians alike.
The falafels are truly fantastic; crunchy on the outside with a soft fluffy interior that almost crumbles. The salad is vibrant, fresh, zingy, & surprisingly filling. The falafels & the pita chips offer the perfect textural contrast.
The staff are very welcoming & humble, & it is wonderful to see them operate seemlessly in such a clean & well-organized kitchen.
All in all, I highly enjoyed my experience with TESFA & will be coming back for everything else that they have to offer.
