TESFA is described as a small, cozy, welcoming spot where the food is consistently fresh, flavorful and prepared with care, with the falafel pita and sabich pita repeatedly called standout items and the hummus noted as exceptionally smooth. Reviewers praise a wide variety of Mediterranean offerings including shawarma, shish taouk and kebab pita, with many calling it the best falafel in Montreal and the bread and sauces highlighted as especially fresh and well balanced. The staff and atmosphere receive many compliments for warmth and friendliness, giving the dining experience a family owned vibe that feels personal and inviting. Some reviewers mention the small space can make seating tricky at busy times, and a few visits note occasional inconsistencies or changes in taste, but these are in the minority compared with the overall praise for freshness, quality and value. Overall it is seen as a hidden gem in the Plateau, offering affordable, high quality Mediterranean dishes that leave diners eager to return.
Soooo good. We had the bowl versions of the garlic chicken sandwich & the falafel salad & everything was so fresh, tasty, & generous portions. The staff were also super nice & helpful. Will absolutely be back.
Visiting Montreal from NYC, found here through the reviews. It didn't disappoint. Absolutely mouth watering food. Awesome Falafel, home made hummus, warm soft pita... you want to try everything on the menu. On top of that, it very much affordable. Love it!!

Absolutely mouth-watering & savoury food! A wonderful delight & unforgettable experience. You'll want to eat their everyday with their affordable prices & tasty options! Also a must to try their falafels even as a side. Highly recommended spot!
Very good food & service. Decent price & good value for money considering the portion sizes. We had the beef & chicken breast wraps & the hummus with Falafel. Everything was delicious, although the falafels were quite small
Let me just say this place was amazing, & it lives up to all the reviews. This turned out to be our first stop upon arriving in Montreal to eat because many places were closed due to a national holiday that we were unaware of. Boxing today. But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we thoroughly enjoyed the food here. The staff was very welcoming & very helpful with us as it was our first time there & they got a feel for what we liked & what they think we should be served, which I appreciated completely. He said these were the best falafel I would ever have, & he was correct. The wife usually isn't a fan of them, but these were beyond exceptional. As well as the pitas that we had. Being that the neighborhood we were staying in, it was very convenient, & this will definitely be a stop that we make the next time we visit Montreal.
I love coming here when I do my errands around the plateau. The food is always delicious, fresh & good portions. Their falafel sandwich is amazing as well as their hummus plate. I love their side salad. Courteous & welcoming service behind the counter. Small space but comfortable & quaint.
So amazing. Very kind service, he explained the menu & gave me recommendations based on my tastes. Additionally, it was very fast & efficient so I got my pita in 10 mins. The music was great & the restaurant was clean. The falafel pita itself was perfectly spicy, bitter, fresh, & rich. The size of the falafel was great, so I could get a good ratio of ingredients in a bite.
