An amazing dining experience from start to finish! The staff at Terrasse Thanos are truly wonderful welcoming, kind, & attentive. You can tell they genuinely care about making every guest feel comfortable & appreciated. The food is absolutely incredible. Every dish is full of flavour & made with care, but the lamb chops were definitely a highlight perfectly cooked, tender, & so juicy that every bite melts in your mouth. The quality & attention to detail really shine through.
& the galaktoboureko… absolutely unforgettable! The perfect balance of crispy, golden layers with a deliciously creamy filling & just the right sweetness. It's the kind of dessert you keep thinking about even after you leave. Terrasse Thanos is a place that brings together amazing food, great atmosphere, & exceptional service. One of the absolute highlights of our recent trip to Montreal! This family-owned gem won us over from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, effortlessly blending charm with thoughtful touches, & the service was outstanding.
My family started with the Mediterranean Pikilia, & every dip was so flavourful that we kept going back for'just one more bite.' The pitas were warm & slightly toasted.
I had the Greek salad with grilled chicken, & even the dressing was exceptional-a reminder that the little details make all the difference. The grilled chicken was unbelievably juicy, marinated in the most incredible lemon-herb marinade I think I've ever tasted. Unfortunately I can't stop thinking about it…
We spent the evening enjoying incredible food, laughing under the glowing patio lights, & making memories we'll be talking about for a long time.
A memorable meal & a restaurant I'd happily recommend to anyone visiting Montreal. I can't wait to return.

What a wonderful evening at Terrasse Thanos! Angelo & the entire staff took amazing care of us. Every single bite was delicious - beautifully plated & cooked to perfection. We enjoyed a family dinner on the spacious patio & had a truly memorable time. Highly recommend this spot, & we'll definitely be back next time we're in Montreal. This place is great! My husband & I feel so lucky to have found a traditional, adorable, & yet, elegant Greek restaurant on a quiet street in downtown Montreal. We went for the first time two weeks ago & have been back twice already since. The food is delicious, elegantly served, & the portions are generous. Plus, salades & tasty garlic bread are included with some dishes & both were really good. Couldn't recommend them more. Also the staff/atmosphere is just super welcoming - feels like your in Greece:)
Amazing food & service! I came here with my family, we ordered the sharing platters & it was fantastic. One of the most beautiful terraces in Montreal; it is quiet & peaceful & has a real Greek-feel. The staff were very welcoming & charming &, most importantly, the food was delicious, classic, & well-made. Sincerely recommend this restaurant for those who live in Montreal or are visiting!!!!
We came all the way from Toronto first time visiting Montreal the experience at this restaurant was top class, we had no parking, the owner quickly arranged for a spot for us, Food was delicious & sumptuous, the entire staff was so friendly & accommodating, we even got an introduction to the cook, overall fabulous experience will highly recommend this place to any one wanting to dine. Nous avons mangé sur la terrasse chauffée en octobre. Salade grecque & spanakopita en entrée. (Désolé, le spanakopita est disparu trop rapidement pour être photographié). Assortiment de grillades Thanos en repas principal, le tout terminé par un vrai yogourt grec au miel. Un bref voyage en Grèce grâce à une expérience me rappelant les typiques taverna grecques. Recommandé!
We visited Terrace Thanos as a group of three & had an excellent experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding, friendly, attentive, & welcoming throughout the evening. The food was delicious, & considering the quality & portion sizes, the prices were more than fair.
We started with the calamari appetizer, which was perfectly cooked & absolutely delicious. For my main course, I had the rib steak cooked medium rare, & it was done to perfection. The potatoes were excellent, & I especially loved the dressing on the house salad. My friend ordered the chicken breast filet plate & couldn't stop talking about how tender & flavorful the chicken was. My girlfriend had the pork chops plate & loved it as well. The pork chops were incredibly tender & cooked just right.
To finish the meal, we shared the homemade Greek galaktoboureko. As someone who loves this dessert, I can honestly say it was a perfect 10/10. It was so good that I went back for seconds! Overall, a fantastic dining experience with great food, generous portions, & exceptional service. We will definitely be coming back & highly recommend Terrace Thanos to anyone looking for authentic Greek cuisine in Montreal.
