Terrasse Thanos is a really enjoyable spot with a warm, friendly atmosphere. We tried the calamari, the starter platter (a generous mix of bites to share), the platter of meats, & their homemade cheesecake. Everything was delicious. The calamari was fresh & well-seasoned, the starter platter was full of variety & perfect for sharing, the meat platter was generous & full of flavour, & the cheesecake tasted truly homemade & was the perfect way to end the meal.
The Greek potatoes that came with the meat platter might just be the best I have had, they were perfectly cooked, seasoned with olive oil, lemon, garlic & oregano.
It is also bring-your-own wine (BYOW), which makes the experience even better. The staff & owners are amazing, very welcoming, & they make you feel right at home.
A great place to relax, enjoy good food, & have a comfortable evening. Definitely worth visiting.
I've been here a few times & it's always a great experience. The food is excellent, especially the meat platter, & the portions are huge. The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, & Angelo & his crew always make you feel at home. Definitely recommend this place for a delicious Greek meal & a good time, plus it's BYOW!
This restaurant is a gem!! BYOW, Friendly & cozy. We enjoyed the terrace! Appetizers were amazing we took the calamari & octopus were delicious! All the platters are generous with rice salad & patatoes. I definitely recommend this restaurant!!
We were a large group from Toronto18 PEOPLE came in & felt like like we were right at home & were in Greece ....Now we know what the real meaning of MADE WITH MERAKI means & we will definitely be coming back with friends & family ...The octopus was unbelievable,MIXWD MEAT & SEAFOOD PLATTERS were out of this 🌎 world extremely fresh ,definitely very flavourful with the finest Greek recipes ..Pikilia ,salads & starters were to die for....👌 Angelo & his staff are truly #1 keep up the great work & I would put 10*stars if it was possible!!!!!!
We visit Terrasse Thanos at least once every other month. It's definitely worth the drive into the city. Despite its location, we usually find parking. & if we need to park a bit farther away, well, it's a great excuse to burn off some of the calories we've consumed! The food is superb-everything from the appetizers & dips to the pizza & mixed grilled meat platter is delicious. Oh, & we love their Greek dessert, galaktoboureko! Angelo & his team create a welcoming atmosphere. A special shout-out to our regular waiter, Thanassis, who truly embodies excellent customer service! Bonus: it's a BYOW establishment.

We have been a few times & we have always enjoyed our meal. We love that it's BYOW & the appetizer platter is generous & good quality! Only downside is that parking is pretty difficult to find so factor that in especially if you have a reservation.
Scrolling Google looking for a resto & found Terrasse Thanos. Went on a Friday warm evening, was greeted by a smiling waitress, & chose to sit outside on a fully occupied terrasse. Didn't take long to get a table & asked what the authentic dishes were on the menu. I was recommended to try the seafood grilled platter, which includes crispy calamari, grilled octopus, shrimp & salmon accompanied by rice, potatoes, & salad. All was delicious. For dessert we chose homemade cheesecake which was fantastic. So glad we found this little gem. The staff is very attentive & made us feel welcome. We had the great pleasure of being served by Harad, she was attentive, charming & professional. Let me say to the owner he's lucky to have her. Will be back for certain & very soon. Let me mention, we've been to other Greek restaurants, & so far none are comparable to Thanos.
Stopped by last night for dinner. Overall, I would rate it 4.5, but google doesn't allow for 1/2 ratings. The only issue was the speed of service. Our server was very nice & did check on us periodically. The issue was that it wasn't very busy, but it took over an hour for the food to come out. We all had the chicken soulvaki platter, which was excellent. The rice & potatoes were also cooked very well. The salads looked great as well. We ended up getting dessert, & both the Bakalva & cheese cake were excellent. The coffee was a little weak for my taste. I like my coffee pretty strong. Overall, I would go again if in the area.
I highly recommend Thanos restaurant. Home cooked meals made with Meraki ♥️ The calamari one of many favourites was made with perfection, a tender crispiness & so tasty you could not get enough of. We ordered the meat platter for two. Very generous portions the lamb chops melted in your mouth. The porc chops were grilled to perfection. The Greek loukaniko was good & the chicken was deliciously seasoned & so tender. Potato lovers the Greek potatoes are a must try equally the same for the rice simple but delicious. Another note worth mentioning the salad was served separately. No hot cold mix. The food & service quality was truly exceptional, a gem worth taking a drive for & you will definitely not rave disappointed. I can't wait to come back. Cheers! Maria V.

We celebrated a very big birthday with family & friends we were around 18. Service was on time & meals are delicious.. pizza, lamb chops, calamari, souvlaki, pikilia platter are must haves!... thanks to chef & owner-operator Angelo & manager Denis, they made sure it all came off without a hitch! We stayed late with no one rushing us, it was relaxed, total enjoyment🎉 Thank you making my special day perfect!
This BYOW place is a gem! It is small place but very friendly & cozy! We were big group & everything was delicious. Appetizers were amazing, calamari was so good. All the platters are big & served with rice & potatoes plus you get a big salad plate. Baklava was one of the best I have tried! I will be definitely returning!
Passed by for a pickup. since all the restaurants are closed. Angelo ,the owner greeted with a nice big smile I placed my order which was the mixed grill platter & an order of fried calamari & of coarse 2 slices of home made cheese cake made by Angelo's mother. The meal was quickly prepared. Everything was prepared perfectly. The fried calamari was perfectly seasoned & very crispy & not greasy. The mixed grill was awesome with generous portions of chicken.breasts,Greek Loukaniko sausages, lamb & pork chops. Cooked to perfection.
The home made cheesecake was superb.This wasn't my first visit & surly will nob my last.
