This restaurant is a gem!! BYOW, Friendly & cozy. We enjoyed the terrace! Appetizers were amazing we took the calamari & octopus were delicious! All the platters are generous with rice salad & patatoes. I definitely recommend this restaurant!!View more

We were a large group from Toronto18 PEOPLE came in & felt like like we were right at home & were in Greece ....Now we know what the real meaning of MADE WITH MERAKI means & we will definitely be coming back with friends & family ...The octopus was unbelievable,MIXWD MEAT & SEAFOOD PLATTERS were out of this 🌎 world extremely fresh ,definitely very flavourful with the finest Greek recipes ..Pikilia ,salads & starters were to die for....👌 Angelo & his staff are truly #1 keep up the great work & I would put 10*stars if it was possible!!!!!!View more

Scrolling Google looking for a resto & found Terrasse Thanos. Went on a Friday warm evening, was greeted by a smiling waitress, & chose to sit outside on a fully occupied terrasse. Didn't take long to get a table & asked what the authentic dishes were on the menu. I was recommended to try the seafood grilled platter, which includes crispy calamari, grilled octopus, shrimp & salmon accompanied by rice, potatoes, & salad. All was delicious. For dessert we chose homemade cheesecake which was fantastic. So glad we found this little gem. The staff is very attentive & made us feel welcome. We had the great pleasure of being served by Harad, she was attentive, charming & professional. Let me say to the owner he's lucky to have her. Will be back for certain & very soon. Let me mention, we've been to other Greek restaurants, & so far none are comparable to Thanos.View more

Stopped by last night for dinner. Overall, I would rate it 4.5, but google doesn't allow for 1/2 ratings. The only issue was the speed of service. Our server was very nice & did check on us periodically. The issue was that it wasn't very busy, but it took over an hour for the food to come out. We all had the chicken soulvaki platter, which was excellent. The rice & potatoes were also cooked very well. The salads looked great as well. We ended up getting dessert, & both the Bakalva & cheese cake were excellent. The coffee was a little weak for my taste. I like my coffee pretty strong. Overall, I would go again if in the area.View more

Great Greek food, I had the souvlaki wrap & greek salad which were scrumptious & the restaurant itself is very nice. The service was also really good & the food came fast. I highly recommend Thanos restaurant. Home cooked meals made with Meraki ♥️ The calamari one of many favourites was made with perfection, a tender crispiness & so tasty you could not get enough of. We ordered the meat platter for two. Very generous portions the lamb chops melted in your mouth. The porc chops were grilled to perfection. The Greek loukaniko was good & the chicken was deliciously seasoned & so tender. Potato lovers the Greek potatoes are a must try equally the same for the rice simple but delicious. Another note worth mentioning the salad was served separately. No hot cold mix. The food & service quality was truly exceptional, a gem worth taking a drive for & you will definitely not rave disappointed. I can't wait to come back. Cheers! Maria V.View more

The bad: Even though the restaurant was empty inside (only busy on the terrace), the service was really not great. We had to ask to get our water refill, & it took a good 10min until they came back with the water. The server was almost never present, so most of the meal our glasses of water were empty. It also took a really long time to receive the main dish & for a table of 2 we didn't receive it at the same time. So one of us was almost done with their plate before the other received it. (It would have been cold if we had to wait for both plates to arrive) I understand it can happen for a big group of people, but a table of 2 & not sending the dishes at the same time is really not great. The pork souvlaki was good, but the chicken souvlaki inside the pita was really dry. Also, I don't suggest paying the extra 7 $ to get the greek salad instead of the house salad. The only difference between both was 3 olives, 3 little pieces of cheese, & one pepper. I would say it's probably more worth it if you choose the Ceasars or horiatiki salad instead of the greek. The good: the fried calamari was a bit chewy but overall good. the rice & potatoes were good, but the salad that is included with the main dishes comes as a starter before everything else. So if you like to eat your salad with the rest of your main dish, you can't. The great: the terrace is really pretty & calm, so the atmosphere is great during summer.View more

Le meilleur pita au porc en ville & peut-être même au monde?! Leur assiettes brochette de poulet est excellente, des morceaux de poulets noircis au citron, un riz dont je payerais cher pour avoir la recette, une salade bondée de légumes & un pain à l'ail inoubliable. Le riz était trop cuit & super huileux, les patates grecques étaient aussi très huileuses & la salade césar a été faite avec de la laitue iceberg & de la sauce à salade césar kraft.. la viande était parfaite par contre & super service. J'ai été déçue vu les plusieurs super commentaires.. Le seul resto grec de ma région a fermé il y a quelques années & j'en cherche encore un qui pourrait l'accoter. On était chanceux d'en avoir un aussi bon & on ne le savait même pas..

One of my favorite Montreal greek restaurants. Authentic & cozy. The tzaziki, souvlaki & Horiatiki salad are always my go to. Great service & hospitality! Thanos is a BYOW with a beautiful terrace for the summer & heaters for the outside in the fall. Highly recommend!View more

The food wasn't great. The salad was too oily. The salmon was ok, but don't order the lamb chops. It's bone & fat, hardly any meat on it. $38 lamb chops!!!! We will not go back.View more

This BYOW place is a gem! It is small place but very friendly & cozy! We were big group & everything was delicious. Appetizers were amazing, calamari was so good. All the platters are big & served with rice & potatoes plus you get a big salad plate. Baklava was one of the best I have tried! I will be definitely returning!View more

Absolutely mind blowing food. We had a chicken souvlaki plate (enough salad & rice for 2-3 people), mushrooms au gratin, a cheese pizza & a side of prawns. Every single dish was delectable. Can’t recommend Thanos enough!View more
