We just had a baptism here this past weekend & everything was phenomenal!!! The service, the FOOD, the atmosphere. Some of the best Greek food I've had in a long time. Everything was so fresh. You walk out of their feeling like family. The owner is so welcoming & the staff was great! They have a beautiful terrasse as well. I definitely recommend if you're looking for authentic Greek food & atmosphere & looking for a change of scenery & a good time!View more

Had the most incredible authentic Greek food at Thanos!! The spanakopita is homemade & delicious. The calamari was amazing. For the main we split chicken sticks, pork pita, & a Thanos pizza. Everything was top notch !! The Tziziki is made with yogurt & tastes like the ones in Greece!! Finally, the homemade desserts were to die for. Both the cheesecake & Galaktoboureko are a must try!! Authentic food, generous portions, amazing staff & owners, homey atmosphere. My wife is Greek & we've eaten there with her family several times. They've always loved it & so have I! I originally went there to show support after hearing they gave free meals to the needy during covid lockdowns. Now I stop by whenever I'm in the area, or having a big family gathering. Oh, & if you drink, it's a BYOB! (I've done take out as well, food quality was the same.)View more

Scrolling Google looking for a resto & found Terrasse Thanos. Went on a Friday warm evening, was greeted by a smiling waitress, & chose to sit outside on a fully occupied terrasse. Didn't take long to get a table & asked what the authentic dishes were on the menu. I was recommended to try the seafood grilled platter, which includes crispy calamari, grilled octopus, shrimp & salmon accompanied by rice, potatoes, & salad. All was delicious. For dessert we chose homemade cheesecake which was fantastic. So glad we found this little gem. The staff is very attentive & made us feel welcome. We had the great pleasure of being served by Harad, she was attentive, charming & professional. Let me say to the owner he's lucky to have her. Will be back for certain & very soon. Let me mention, we've been to other Greek restaurants, & so far none are comparable to Thanos.View more

One of my favorite Montreal greek restaurants. Authentic & cozy. The tzaziki, souvlaki & Horiatiki salad are always my go to. Great service & hospitality! Thanos is a BYOW with a beautiful terrace for the summer & heaters for the outside in the fall. Highly recommend!View more

So we just found this little gem by chance
& you can bet we will be back
They are all awesome
I mean it's a family owned business so first off we really got to support those "mom & pop shops" hehe
but enough about the people lets get to the food ... where to start on the food
First off shall I mention Homemade,Homemade,Homemade !!
Everything's authentic just like mom would make 30 years ago & made with Meraki
( which I think means love in Greek )
( & also their slogan )
The spana , the fish & chips & oh wow the pizza ( a perfect crust & so not stingy on the toppings ) it was all so delicious.
Everything about our night was just amazing.
From the atmosphere & the energy you feel around you as well as the interactions between everyone else right down to the very last French fry on my plate lol
I assure you you dont want (& I do not want you to ) miss out on this !!!
I end this with a huge shoutout to Angelo ( the owner ) , his family & friends keep it up !!!
