Trust me, come at sunset for the views. The drinks & service were good, but the view over the Old Port is what really makes this spot worth it. Perfect place to stop for a drink before heading to dinner.
Terrace is well appointed. Great view. Lovely sunny day. But the service was terribly slow. Took 25 minutes to obtain first drink. Almost 20 minutes to get the bill after finishing meal. Food was good but not exceptional.

View is amazing, food is legit bad & overpriced, most of items, & we tasted all of them (small menu) are dry, tasteless or is just bellow average for the price. Would still go if only for drinks, you get a nice view of old port/St-Laurent
Camilo was my bartender & he did not disappoint! The drinks were amazing!! The place is stunning as well & the view is unbeatable which only made my experience better.
View is beautiful however, there is only 2 options for beers, the food came quick except the potato wedges I got very cold & tasted like flour paste. Literally the worst potato wedges ive ever eaten. Pulled pork burger was good however. My wife had the chicken cutlet, it tasted ok at best. Very bland. Her coleslaw was pretty good however.
Feels like they got 50% of everything good & 50% of everything terrible. If you're not a beer person & only want to enjoy half of the meal on your plate. Then this might be for you. All I'll say is beware of the potato wedges. yuk
We were staying at the hotel & thought we'd book in advance to enjoy a dinner & view. The view was pretty much all we got. We were sat at our table for an 8:45 reservation & were not greeted by anyone else until after 9. Already what we had ordered was sold out, but not told in dance so needed time to re look over the menu to
make another choice. Food told a LONG time to arrive & took our server checking in with kitchen for where it was. Tuna tartare was delicious but not enough'bread' to start so needed to order more. Mains arrived & my falafel tacos were COLD! I asked to send back & wasn't hungry for anything else as by this time my partner had almost finished his meal. Our server did try to give new options but by this point not much was helpful. Manager, maybe, as he did not introduce himself, did stop by to apologize & we just took the bill. The hype is over rated, service is mediocre, food was not good & if the view is lall you are looking for , then by all means attend.

The view was good & I did like the food even though it wasn't amazing. For a rooftop terasse in the old port, the price was competitive.
The service was bad. My drink didn't come for at least 40-45mins, I kept seeing other tables getting their drinks & I was the only one at my table without my drink. I asked the waitress & she went to check but didn't give me an update, so I waited another 15-20mins before asking her again & she went to check again. My drink finally came after a bit more waiting but the waitress never gave me updates or apologized for the wait the whole time. Other restaurants would've not charged the drink since i waited for an hour, but okay. The waitress' attitude is like she doesn't really care & not very friendly (not exactly rude, but not friendly).
Must experience terrasse! Their burger, club sandwich & mocktails were very good, although the potatoes were plain & the mezze average. It is an amazing terrace for the view of old port & the atmosphere was incredible. We happened to run out of electricity, but the staff was incredible, our waiter Christopher was amazing & got us through the troubles. Overall a night full of memories!
We enjoyed our dinner on the rooftop terrace overlooking the night view of the View-Port Montreal. The service was fantastic. Most of us enjoyed our meals, but did feel the food could improve a bit more i.e. offering a sauce with the potatoes (for the pulled pork burger) or changing it to fries & using nicer bread for the chicken katsu sandwich & changing the celeriac remoulade which wasn't to anyone's taste. Overall, we had a great time & appreciated the view & friendliness & attentiveness of the waitstaff. Merci.
Food is good, but the serving size is a little disappointing. I got the katsu sando, which was nicely grilled & had a good sesame flavor, but the side slaw was disappointing. The mint refresher mocktail made up for the plate though. It was well balanced & fresh, a perfect match for a heavy fried chicken sandwich. Service was good, no complaints there. Atmosphere is nice & the view is stunning.
Disappointed on a day that meant everything to us !!
We visited Terrasse Sur l'Auberge on 28th june for a very personal reason-our heavenly daughter's birthday. It was our first without her, & we had planned a quiet dinner in her memory. We had made our reservation well in advance as part of our escape trip to Montreal, hoping for a peaceful, meaningful evening. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we hoped for.
Though the rain was unpredictable & understandably made things more chaotic, the way we were received was disheartening. Despite having a reservation, we were treated like walk-ins & seated in a far corner of the balcony. Only one of us had a view of the city, & while the space is understandably small, the lack of care stood out.
We ordered a light meal & drinks-just a small toast in our daughter's memory-& were immediately given the bill before we even received the food. We were warned it might rain again & were seated directly under a leaky roof. When it did rain, the water poured right over our table, soaking our food, drinks, & even my handbag. We couldn't eat, couldn't even sit, & had to walk out in disappointment-no one checked on us, apologized, or offered to help.
It was truly upsetting on what was already an emotionally heavy day. We understand weather can't be controlled, but kindness & care can be. Sadly, this experience left a painful mark, & we likely won't return.
