The service & atmosphere are warm & really great. There was a mistake where the kitchen made the wrong order, but it was corrected instantly & I was provided with hot tea as a complementary service I think, which was wonderful & has a slight flavor of mint. The seafood gargoulette was perfectly seasoned & the ingredients are fresh, though I had to order bread to ensure I felt full enough. I wasn't even charged for the bread, maybe due to the early mishap, & was offered jasmine water on my hands before leaving, which smelled wonderful & shows how friendly the service is. I would love to come back again!
Amazing cuisine served in a warm, caring, attentive, & casual atmosphere. Don't miss the signature gargoulette dishes & the delicious, labor intensive house lemonade. The owner took time out on a very busy night to explain how each dish was made. Run, do not walk to this fantastic place, but make sure you have a reservation!
We had the most amazing experience at Terracotta the other night! The staff were so welcoming & passionate about sharing Tunisian cusisine & culture.
Our kids loved the experience as well, the indoor'banquet' seating was luxurious & perfect for little ones!
We got the lamb gargoulette, it was such flavourful dish! It is made in a Terracotta dish over 24 hours so you know it's going to be incredible!
The kids menu is perfect for little ones - great flavour, no spice, & a good variety of things to eat. As adults we even enjoying nibbling of the kid's plate.
Terracotta is a must try - an incredibly unique dining experience that will make you want to go back again & again!
We ate at Terracotta our first night in Montreal & it did not disappoint! We got a table right away, the server was fantastic; she was kind, helpful, & gave really great recommendations. We ordered the mechouia salad to share & then my husband got the fruits de mer (seafood) gargoulette & loved it, I got the poulet (chicken) ojja which I also loved but it was very spicy so make sure you're up for that!
The only downside of our experience is we were seated next to their trash (maybe recycling?) bins & it got a little smelly at times. The food & cheerful waitress made this easy to overlook but it was a bummer especially when dining.
One of the best restaurants we have tried in a while! Delicious food, I highly recommend the gargoulette & the octopus salad. The service was very friendly, they explained the different dishes to us & provided recommendations. Highly recommend trying this restaurant!
Nous avons passé un excellent moment chez Terracotta ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par Sabri, un jeune serveur très chaleureux & attentionné. On s'y sent comme à la maison, avec des plats mijotés qui nous font littéralement voyager jusqu'en Tunisie, le tout à un prix très raisonnable.
Nous avons commencé avec leur citronnade maison, un vrai délice rafraîchissant ! En entrée, les boureks thon & crevettes étaient bien croustillants, même s'ils manquaient un peu de goût à notre goût.
En plat principal, nous avons opté pour la gargoulette d'agneau & l'Ojja au poulet : deux plats savoureux, généreux & parfaitement assaisonnés. Notre petite ne mangeant pas beaucoup, nous avons aussi pris des frites & des merguez en extra.
Pour finir en beauté, nous avons dégusté leur thé aux fruits secs accompagné d'une crème brûlée à la pistache absolument délicieuse !
Le tout pour 175$ avec le pourboire, & franchement, ça les valait largement. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir & avons bien hâte de faire découvrir ce petit bijou à notre famille !
Un excellent restaurant. La nourriture est délicieuse & de très bonne qualité. Tout était si délicieux: la gargoulette d'agneau, la salade tunisienne, le pain, Fricassé, la brika, la crème brûlée & le thé. Le service est exceptionnel. Vivement recommandé!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible Tunisian restaurant, & I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality & a cozy, authentic atmosphere that immediately made me feel like I was transported to Tunisia.
The menu is a beautiful celebration of Tunisian cuisine, with every dish bursting with rich flavors & unique spices. The brik was perfectly crispy, & the fell was a true masterpiece, full of tender lamb. The'gargoulette' was absolutely divine.
One of the best restaurants in Montréal! The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic & rich tunisian flavors. The atmosphere is cozy & welcoming, & the service is outstanding, truly above & beyond. Every dish we tried was amazing, & the gargoulette was the best I've ever had. The owner was incredibly kind. The service here was incredible, they are so kind! We got takeout but I loved the ambience of the restaurant & the seating. We got the - couscous agneau - ojja Terracotta - lamb gargoulette They were all very delicious. We liked the flat bread more than the puff one, as it has an amazing chew. It was my first time having Tunisian food & I really enjoyed it!
The moment the family walked in the door, we received a warm welcome by Sabri. He provided excellent service throughout our family meal. What a gentleman! The food is remarkable. We had the octopus salad which was exceptionally tasty. We also had the Ojja Merguez & the seafood Gargoulettes which were as remarkable. We finished with the creme brûle which was to die for. We had this amazing & pleasurable Chat with the owner. We felt like we were part of the restaurant family. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Le plat que j'ai demandé sera ajouté au menu, en rigolant on m'avait dit que c'était le plat du chef :), des spaghettis délicieuses, comme on en mange chez nous, bien épicées, mais pas trop. L'agneau à la gargoulette, bien tendre était très tres savoureux. Les quantités sont très très généreuse, même avec un seul plat, en ayant une fin de loup, on n'arrive pas à finir le plat! Le déssert, une crème brulée aux pistache était d'une finesse exquise, un vrai délice. L'accueil est très courtois, le service est plus que parfait. Garder le cap, maintenez le nivea. Merci pour cette jolie expérience .

i tried this place while visiting from vancouver. we don't have many north african options out there so this was a really unique experience for me! the food was great & the service was spectacular. do try the gargoulette - the taste & presentation was great. i tried the lamb chicken & seafood of which seafood was my favourite! the pasta was also really delicious.
