This is an absolutely beautiful bar & great place for billiards / pool & beer.
The staff were all so incredibly nice. The beer they recommended was delicious, & the pool area was nice & & secluded from the rest of the bar. The one downside to the pool table is that it is near the washrooms.
The atmosphere is what elevates this bar as a spot to recommend. See the pictures for an idea, but the music selection fits the art deco vibe they have going perfectly in my opinion.
Other than the price of the beers which was a bit high, this is definitely a bar worth going to if you can afford it.View more

Staff is amazing, food is delicious & extremely fast. Drinks are strong in the best of ways. Couldn't believe the low prices for this upscale bar!!

Stopped by here two nights, first on a Thursday then Saturday. Thursday was laidback with a decent amount of people & Saturday was busy but still chill. I think it's because people here are sitting either at the bar or tables conversing. It's not a bar where people stand & talk & walk around. I found that interesting as it makes for a different vibe. There's a variety of beers on draft & I tried one (Hop Valley) that was good. I drank a cocktail which was just the right amount of alcohol, not weak or strong. 5/5 atmosphere & food, try the Cajun wings & pulled pork flatbread! Tonight was Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final. Little note about the service: I've never seen a bartender have to come out from the bar to serve customers while the waitress sits at the barstools with customers to watch the game. We waited 25 minutes for our waitress to take our food order but that never happened so I got up & waited at the bar. I think it was the busboy who kindly took & entered our order; he & another waiter served us after but it was the same waitress who came to collect the bill & her tip. I'll regret leaving that tip if it isn't shared by all the staff. I'd come back again & don't mind ordering from the bar for the Cajun wings. Would love to see bigger screens for the sports too.View more

This bar quickly became our favorite spot in Montréal! Initially just searching for a place for a drink, we stumbled upon it conveniently close to our hotel. Inside, ample seating & a stylish industrial-retro décor greeted us. Our French server was not only friendly but also efficient, adding to our enjoyable experience. The pricing for beer is excellent, especially during the happy hours until 7pm, making it a fantastic deal. The ambiance is enhanced by tasteful, classic music selections. Despite having six beers, we found ourselves reluctant to leave. We're already planning our return on our next visit to Montréal.View more

Went here for drinks two times during the week. There's always place at the bar & few tables available. It's candid place & the ratio of alcohol in the drinks are fair for the price. People at the pool table are usually welcoming & friendly. Going there alone isn't weird , will come back.View more

Cool bar which I've been passing by for years & finally checked out. Love the interior design & the nod to old school taverns with the jars of pickles & pickles eggs on the bar. Great skylight in the middle & a pool table towards the back. Good & quick service. An amazing happy hour special which appears to be every day?
