Everything is great about this place. Excellent selection of beers (draft, craft, can...) & perfect finger food to go with it. Loved the staff, their work is precise & accurate, even during peak hours. 👍✨? music selection is great as well.

Edit: upon a closer review of my receipt, I reasonably believe i was scammed. By a few dollars but still - I gave a good tip before I noticed the wrong numbers.

They charged me more for my 2nd beer, Hypa 7 (15.50$ instead of 13$ like indicated on the menu.) I have attached receipts. The first two items show as having been ordered during happy hour - kudos to the staff because we arrived like 5 mins before - but either way, none of the things I ordered qualify for the happy hour prices. The evening price must be wrong though. On top of taxes & tip we are paying, why charge us wrong? Boo 👎

This is an absolutely beautiful bar & great place for billiards / pool & beer.
The staff were all so incredibly nice. The beer they recommended was delicious, & the pool area was nice & & secluded from the rest of the bar. The one downside to the pool table is that it is near the washrooms.
The atmosphere is what elevates this bar as a spot to recommend. See the pictures for an idea, but the music selection fits the art deco vibe they have going perfectly in my opinion.
Other than the price of the beers which was a bit high, this is definitely a bar worth going to if you can afford it.

Great happy hour. Mojito was nice, beer was macro. The olive order was huge! & I love that it came with sun dried tomatoes for me since I hate olives 😂

Lovely place! went with some friends & stayed outside & it was very nice. nice beer, we didn't order much food but what it came was nice. Friendly staff . will come back fro beer next time in Montreal.

Stopped by here two nights, first on a Thursday then Saturday. Thursday was laidback with a decent amount of people & Saturday was busy but still chill. I think it's because people here are sitting either at the bar or tables conversing. It's not a bar where people stand & talk & walk around. I found that interesting as it makes for a different vibe. There's a variety of beers on draft & I tried one (Hop Valley) that was good. I drank a cocktail which was just the right amount of alcohol, not weak or strong. Its a pleasant & friendly place to relax with friends.

This bar quickly became our favorite spot in Montréal! Initially just searching for a place for a drink, we stumbled upon it conveniently close to our hotel. Inside, ample seating & a stylish industrial-retro décor greeted us. Our French server was not only friendly but also efficient, adding to our enjoyable experience. The pricing for beer is excellent, especially during the happy hours until 7pm, making it a fantastic deal. The ambiance is enhanced by tasteful, classic music selections. Despite having six beers, we found ourselves reluctant to leave. We're already planning our return on our next visit to Montréal.

Great experience at Taverne Midway good beer not too much expensive & very nice services from all staff. great meal (we ordered only nachos tapas but it was very nice) & FREE billards table in the bar Thanks for this great moment spent here easy to join from metro station

A fun place! is good for an after show beer. Warning: I was charged $16.00 for 1 beer 35 with tip for two... I doubt I will come back
