Before this one I never know sushi can taste this bad, would not recommend, the only good thing in this restaurant is coke in can.

Super décor, un restaurant vraiment unique en son genre. J'ai essayé le BBQ & le service était impeccable. Il y a eu une petite attente pour recevoir les sushis, mais rien de majeur. Le concept est simple: on commande directement à la table & tout arrive rapidement.

Honestly our experience last night was AMAZING. The restaurant is just so aesthetically pleasing & theres just so many choices from the menu that you'll never get bored. In total there are supposed to be 3 floors to the experience.

First Floor: AYCE JBBQ
Second: AYCE Sushi
Third: Izakaya (not open yet, at the time of writing)

The place so far is in'soft launch' mode, so it is worth noting that, at the time I'm writing this, they do not have their liquor license yet so alcohol is not yet available on the menu. But please don't let that deter you from going now, or later in a month or two when it is.

Not only are the visuals stunning but the conveyor belt system for delivering the meats to the table & the little train that brought certain appetizers was honestly just so innovative & cute that our group was in awe.

Menu options are amazing. The meats were pretty good as far as most JBBQs/KBBQs go in Montreal as well but the real star were the diverse menu options available for all of us to try, even a limited but not small selection for Sushi in the BBQ floor.

We went last night for a friend's birthday, & the staff were also super friendly & accommodating & seeing as we left at he end of the night, offered to even change the visuals on their screens for us to take a group photo.

10/10 would come here again, amazing experience!

It was a sushi restaurant with excellent quality for the price. The atmosphere was also great, & I would like to thank Billy, the kitchen manager who is a sushi expert! He is really handsome & makes good sushi😊

You're really paying for the atmosphere, not the food. The vibe is beautiful, but the food was very basic & not well presented compared to the setting. There are definitely better Japanese & sushi spots out there.
The staff were super nice though probably the highlight of the experience.

I had the most wonderful experience at Taiyo Sushi 💖✨
From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm & welcoming, but what truly made our visit unforgettable was Lina. She was incredibly kind, attentive, & genuinely caring-she made us feel so comfortable & taken care of throughout the entire meal 🫶
The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, & beautifully presented. Every bite felt like it was made with love, & you can really tell they put heart into everything they do ❤?
Lina went above & beyond to make sure we had the best experience, & her sweet energy made the night even more special. It's rare to come across service that feels this genuine & thoughtful 💫
I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food & a lovely atmosphere. Thank you, Lina, for such a heartwarming experience-we'll definitely be back! 💕

best night ever! everything i love in one place & their sushis are so good they also have all you can eat BBQ on the first floor i highly recommend! the staff is so attentive too!
