Had a great experience! The food was delicious there was a huge variety of sushi & plenty of other options. Everything seemed flavorful & came out very quickly.
The service was excellent as well. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming & attentive & always checking in to make sure everything was good. Overall a fantastic experience!! 🤩
Edit: second visit izakaya floor
Came here again but this time tried the izakaya. The vibes are obviously great. The water bottle & glasses are more for like a Bachelorette party vibe.
Tried the brochette variety dish, the taiyo burger( not the mountain sized one) duck platter & the ramen.
Honestly all the food was great EXCEPT THE RAMEN, the ramen was horrible. When they served it, there was no broth, the noodles were soggy, because the server probably forgot about it & let the noodles sit in the broth for too long before serving. The pickled veggie they had on it had no flavor & the pork was basically slices of bacon made into a circular shape. For what they charged i was offended at what was served for this .
However the rest of the food was great & flavorful. Not sure i would go back to the izakaya part of the restaurant again. For the high price & bitter after taste of that very poorly cooked ramen, i think ill stick to their bbq floor & sushi floor.
Also note. Their out door private bubble pods are only for those who order up to several huundred dollars worth of food &/or drink. I believe the medium pods were 300 & big ones 500. But i could be mistaken or remembering the amounts incorrectly.
First visit: bbq floor
Came during the lunch time. The menu was perfect. A good amount of beef & pork options. Honestly had everything you need for a good AYCE bbq. Service was quick, however it wasnt super busy when i was there, if it is for you then it could be possible service is slower. But keep in mind they just opened recently.
As for my experience. Orders came in at a timely fashion, i really enjoyed the conveyor belt & train delivery system, reminiscent of dining experiences i had in Japan. Food was overall pretty good. The only improvement i would say would be on the plates section, i tried the general tao chicken to see how it was. It was crunchy & had a bit of flavor but very little to no meat. Obviously you come for the meat & sushi, which were absolutly delicious, but if they want to improve, that would be one.
Aside from that the decoration is amazing. I love how the stairs to the sushi bar light up with every step you take. The projections are beautiful & enchanting. The bbq floor was filled with led animations. It is pretty awesome.
Sorry for the long review, & no picture.
But would happily return here .
Hopefully this was helpful.
The service is very fast & effective. Staff very friendly. The menu: freshness, variety & so many options.. great place to come has a group or for a date. Highly recommend that place. Will come back again soonn
Cool experience for sushi, great setting that feels great. Service was amazing & they took a lot of care. Probably missing some basic menu options like sunomono salad or tuna sashimi (only really had salmon). It's an all you can eat, which we only realized when we got there but there were enough options to keep us happy. Price was $55 each because it was Friday to Sunday.
The portion sizes were just right, not too large, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It's the first all-you-can-eat sushi spot where I didn't leave feeling overly full or sick afterward. The service was excellent, & the selection was impressively wide, with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, a great dining experience that I'd definitely return to! The atmosphere itself was also beautiful
What a nice discovery. First floor is for AYCE japanese bbq, second floor is for AYCE sushi. The immersive visual experience was super cool. It's like having two activities at once: eating AYCE food & being surrounded by a visual experience. The food took some time to come by but it came quickly after mentioning it to the server. I love their dessert options as well. Over all would go again & recommend everyone to try at least once. They have mouthwash in the bathroom, which is a nice touch.
Came here for the ayce sushi & I can say its one of the best in montreal. They have so many food options, everything you would expect a sushi restaurant, they would have. Everything except the drinks are ayce & you can order as many times as you want, with a 2 hour seating time limit. They also have very delicious desserts such as ice cream & cakes. The portion sizes are what you would expect to see for an ayce. There were projectors everywhere & it lowkey made it dizzying to eat.
Please please please get a reservation especially if you plan to go in the evening.
We went on a Saturday, we did not have a reservation around 5:30 we put out names on the waiting list & by 7:30 we got our place.
The place is absolutely beautiful no doubt in that, the staff are very friendly & helpful.
The menu itself for a Saturday dinner it's very small menu & doesn't have the same amount of options you see at other buffets for dinner. With tips & tax bill came up to almost 67$ way more expensive than the others almost by an extra 12$ to 15$.
The food itself was amazing the rolls were fresh, & not fishy. The turn offs are the skewers all came cold not even warm cold the teriyaki came cold as well not sure if that's what they were aiming for but even when I pointed it out it wasn't replaced by hot ones, another thing is the grilled octopus the first order tasted amazing even though it was cold still tasted good, now the second time we ordered it tasted really bad we spat it out could swallow it.
The desserts were really good the fried banana was sooooooo good.
Would I go again? Honestly no, not going to pay 67$ every time I go just for show where I can pay way less for much more food verity & much more flavour impact.
67 $ seems very inexpensive for any restaurant on Crescent street. I would expect a minimum of 150 $. If you can not afford one of the best restaurants in a city known worldwide for its' excellence in cuisine, you should stay home to eat or go to a fastfood chain because this place clearly is no meant for you.
Honestly our experience last night was AMAZING. The restaurant is just so aesthetically pleasing & theres just so many choices from the menu that you'll never get bored. In total there are supposed to be 3 floors to the experience.
First Floor: AYCE JBBQ
Second: AYCE Sushi
Third: Izakaya (not open yet, at the time of writing)
The place so far is in'soft launch' mode, so it is worth noting that, at the time I'm writing this, they do not have their liquor license yet so alcohol is not yet available on the menu. But please don't let that deter you from going now, or later in a month or two when it is.
Not only are the visuals stunning but the conveyor belt system for delivering the meats to the table & the little train that brought certain appetizers was honestly just so innovative & cute that our group was in awe.
Menu options are amazing. The meats were pretty good as far as most JBBQs/KBBQs go in Montreal as well but the real star were the diverse menu options available for all of us to try, even a limited but not small selection for Sushi in the BBQ floor.
We went last night for a friend's birthday, & the staff were also super friendly & accommodating & seeing as we left at he end of the night, offered to even change the visuals on their screens for us to take a group photo.
