The girl at the cash was horrible. Messed up my order 3 times. Doesn't speak Spanish (not that i do lol but it's a Mexican resto & people came in & ordered in Spanish & she couldn't serve them). The chef was Indian. Empanadas came out dark dark brown & crumbed before you could eat. Totally burnt. She said'she microwaved them too long' ordered 3 at $5 each, threw them out at the resto. Tacos were good. Guacamole good. Total bill was $120 3 ppl. Tipped 15% but if I knew wouldn't have tipped her at all messed up the order. Problem is tip is on ordering at beginning who knew she knew nothing about restaurants. When I complained just had an excuse. I went because it had good reviews. Anyways was disappointed. If someone wants to get it touch with me from the resto I can explain in detail.
We had a hankering for some tacos & randomly picked Tacos Maya from a number of taco restaurants in the area based on the good reviews. We were certainly happy with the food as it was vibrant & delicious! We had the chips & guacamole, beef birria & cochinata pork tacos which were all fantastic. Highly recommended!
Personnel très irrespecteux. J'ai attendu une demi heure pour recevoir ma commande, ils me donnent la mauvaise chose, & en plus ils s'obstinent avec moi quand je leur dis qu'ils ont fait une erreur. Je n'ai jamais vu d'employés aussi impolis; énorme manque de respect. C'est la première fois de ma vie que j'ai dû exiger un remboursement. Vous n'êtes pas près de me revoir.
My fiancee & i were staying in Montreal & decided to stop at TacosMaya. We both got cochinita porc tacos (3 each). Wow! Very good. Be prepared for a filling meal. Some places 3 tacos don't fill fill you up. I am currently stuffed writing this. Shout out to our cook/server Nate (he is amazing & so nice). A honourable mention also is the non-alcoholic sangria drink. Its very very good just a bit pricy. Worth it though!
Le tacos pastor est dans les moins bons que j'ai mangé (bien meilleur dans d'autres restos). Le biria était bon. Petites portions. On donne du tip, mais on doit se lever pour aller chercher notre commande. La porte ne se referme pas donc très froid.
Great food, great staffs. It is a self serve spot & you order at the cash. The space has some room for improvements, but overall the experience was pretty nice.

L établissement est petit, propre & bien décoré selon la thématique mexicaine. Le personnel est très sympathique & la nourriture est abordable (à portée de bourse pour un lunch sur le pouce!)
J y ai mangé les meilleurs tacos birria de toute mon existence. Viande tendre, garnitures généreuses, bouillon savoureux. Un mélange parfait d épices, de faicheur & de fromage fondu. Je recommande de les commander all dressed.
Avec un peu d imagination: Il manquait juste d avoir les pieds dans le sable, un cocktail à la main & de se laisser bercer par le bruit des vagues pour se retrouver dans une tienda en bord de plage quelque part au Mexique!
J y retournerai assurément & ce dans les plus brefs delais ( j en suis accro!!)
