Came here for drinks before dinner. We hit the large margaritas & they were amazing & strong! Great start to the night , & Naomi was amazing? Give her a raise!
L'horaire indiquait qu'ils ferment à 22h. Nous sommes arrivés à 20h30 & on ne nous a pas servis, avec l'excuse que ce n'est plus'La Kalaka' & que la cuisine était déjà fermée parce qu'ils avaient lavé la vaisselle. Nous voulions simplement goûter les sushis. Le client devrait être la priorité.

Music was *pumping*, at 7pm on a Monday evening. We asked them to turn it down, & they did. Slightly. All you can eat tacos offering was not available due to new management. Can't share about the food because we didn't stay to eat. They turned the music back up as we were putting on our coats. 🤦
This was my first time visiting Sinaloa Rolls (formerly La Kalaka), & I was honestly very excited because I had finally found Mexican-style sushi rolls in Montreal.
When I arrived, they told me that the weekend had been very busy & that they didn't have absolutely anything left to prepare sushi. So… I'll have to come back for that. We decided to stay anyway & ordered tacos al pastor-& I have to say, they were extremely delicious. They really exceeded my expectations. I'm leaving a photo of them because they were that good.
That said, I do have two small complaints.
The first one is about the atmosphere. I understand they're trying to recreate a Sinaloa-style vibe, & I get that the music is part of that experience, but honestly, having that music playing all the time can be a bit much. Still, I guess it's part of what they're going for.
My second complaint is about communication. I tried contacting them through Instagram, Facebook, I called by phone (no answer), left messages on TikTok, & even tried WhatsApp because I wanted to know their hours & whether I needed a reservation-& I never got a reply anywhere. I'd just recommend improving that part of customer service a bit, or being clearer & more consistent with the information they share on social media.
In the end, my complaints are pretty minor, because what really matters is the quality & taste of the food-& on that front, they did great.
Mal servicio No querian atendernos íbamos 5 personas que por que ocupaba reserva y que estaba lleno y ni gente había nunca piden reservación y hoy si al último nos atendieron pero de mala gana les pedíamos servilletas o cosas así y se enojaban no las dejaban de mala manera y pues primera y última ves que compro aquí pedía mínimo una ves a la semana durante algunos meses sin mentir y hoy me decepcionaron la verdad 👎🏽 y le puse una estrella para poder comentar si no ni le pongo ninguna 👎🏽
Well, food was great here, & the atmosphere very cool with paintings & all. Service is okay but being charged $15 for a small VIRGIN mojito kinda rubbed me the wrong way. I will not go back because of it. PSA: Look at your bill before leaving there to make sure it's accurate.
The portions are extremely generous. Great Tacos, decent price. The drinks are delicious & well made. I happened to have been here while there was an event & it made the experience even better, great performer.
The only little thing is that the site is a bit overwhelming & requires updates. Which makes it a bit hard to check ongoing promotions without having to go there.

Domingo por la tarde, no había totopos o tostadas para darnos con el guacamole así es que nos dieron papas fritas ( sin aviso previo; solo las llevaron ala mesa) se pidió sushi( que después de 55 minutos por fin llegó ala mesa) pero sin salsa de soja, wasabi o jengibre encurtido, porque se les había terminado( pero porque no nos avisaron antes de traernos el sushi ala mesa? )si medio decepciona el que no tengan el platillo completo o ciertas cosas que lo acompanen. (No regresaría gracias)
They changed their whole menu we got invited to go try this location with friends our friends went before the holidays & sent us a picture of the menu which looked good we get there after the holidays in Jan 2026 to find out the whole menu changed the food was not good at all the service was bad two waitresses serving the bills got all screwed up they over charged a whole bucket of beers so becarful on that we tried to explain to them the error & they couldn't check with the other waitress cus police came in to restaurant to come & get her a real mess the people working there & other people who were there with them but not working were surrounding the restaurant the ambiance felt akward & unsafe . Very expensive for the quality of the food never again it was the first & last time . We got fooled by there advertise r I believe its AI generated ads .
Una muy linda experience en fin de Ano . El menu no esta actualisado con el sitio web . Pero estaba todo delicioso. El personal muy amable y el ambiente Super ! La comida estaba frezca y el Dj muy atento al publico. El servicio fue rapido . Las margaritas 🤩Lo recomiendo 💯 % y regresaremoa seguro . Gracias
Avec mon amie nous somme ressorti avec des maux de ventres intempestifs pendant une journée entière & le service était inexistant. Pas de propositions d'eau & oublie dans la commande qui fait que nous avons mangé froid. Nous avons payé 80$ à deux pour des plats qui ne nous ont pas plue. La nourriture avait un goût de gaz, nous soupçonnons une cuisson sur du matériel très ancien. Bref, c'est un regret & nous avons jeter notre argent.

La formule à volonté est une belle arnaque. Après deux malheureux tacos, la serveuse (dont le sourire était manifestement en option ce soir-là) nous a coupé les vivres. Motif :'il est trop tard'. C'est donc le premier restaurant à volonté qui vous met au régime forcé au milieu du repas. Une règle secrète qu'il fallait apparemment deviner avec une boule de cristal.

Les portions sont généreuses & très bien préparé
En attendant notre plat, il vous serve une coupe de cheaps Nachos & deux sauces douce & pimentée.
Le serveuse est très attentive à vos besoins & s'assure que vous ayez toujours des serviettes à votre disposition (la sauce coule😄 un peu)
Le rapport qualité prix reste très acceptable & le service est rapide
Une petite halte à midi agréable, je reviendrai un soir
La musique latino est présente mais pas envahissante, on peut se parler sans crier
La décoration coloré à souhait🇲🇽
Everything was meh. The service wasn't great either since the waitress did not seem to be paying much attention when she was taking our orders. She screwed up on a few items. She came across as if she did not feel like being there.
