We ordered the quesa birria. The 3 tacos were filling & delicious,came with a side of nachos. The broth was very flavorful. They make their own hot sauces, which we loved. We didn't order any alcoholic drinks but we regretted it because they looked amazing. Also the horchata was very sweet & less your typical kind. But definitely will be back to try more things on their menu. But it seems from the tables around us that the quesa birria is the most popular. Seating can be tight if busy. We came in time before the rush. Very nicely decorated & ambience is nice with spanish music playing.
Update: they have made the insides more roomy which is great. But I can't justify paying $18 + tax for a burrito. Which is mainly rice & toppings with a small amount of meat. $20 for one burrito with a side of literally 6 nacho chips is a little crazy. Sorry!View more

Beef Burritos now super amazing to my liking as once upon a time was too salty - but now they fixed the recipe & I had the best mind blowing Burritos in decades with so many condiment options you have to try it out. They won't disappoint you. Food is amazing, so many juices, drinks, & knick knacks. They are so friendly & helpful - high energy & super cool place to visit. Iconic & a Montreal landmark. I was my first visit & I really enjoyed the food. We ordered Queso birria & cochinita pibil. They were so tasty & juicy. The drinks were delicious (Margaritas mango & strawberry). The staff were very friendly & the service was fast! The decorations are really cool & authentic. I will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu 😋View more

Food is fine. The options is really where it's good. You have a multitude of choice. I just can't get over the fact that it costs 50$ for 2 burritos & 2 drinks. 60 with a tip. Also service was pretty slow but that's ok, what bothered me the most is how backwards the line to order pay & then choose the toppings is.View more

First time coming here. Didn't know they didn't take your order at the table. So after sitting outside & waiting a while with nobody greeting us we went in. Wasn't too sure what the process was to place an order. Bar tender is right there when you walk. So while waiting in line I figured I'd order a drink. Didn't realize I couldn't get my drink before getting to the cash to place th order. Would have been nice to drink while waiting. However the drink was absolutely amazing. So was worth the wait. Food was good but Not overly impressed. (& a little on the pricey side) Sauces are on one side of the counter (where people are standing in line to order). Not very convenient. Overall would I go back? For the drink 100% food maybe.View more

We came all the way from Laval to Pierrefonds to try Tacos Don Rigo 😅 It was a suggestion from my sister-in-law from like over a year ago. My Husband & I we were looking forward to finally try it. Let me tell you it did not disappoint 👌🏽 They have a pretty extensive menu both for food & beverages. She told us to try the quesabirria tacos & we added the pickled red onions as an extra & everything was simply delicioso 🤤 To our surprise, the guacamole wasn't very tasty though. To drink, the hubby took the horchata & for sure I got the Jarritos de Tamarindo 🤩 If you're looking for a place to experience the "Viva Mexico!" authentic vibes, this restaurant is definitely it. From the music, the decor, the staff to even what they display on TV, everything makes you feel Mexico 🇲🇽. The concept is well done! In terms of price, both for the portions & the experience, we believe it's fair.View more

The tacos' are as impressive as the Décor. Authentic & amazing. The Owners is such a cool guy & helped me order. If you shut your eyes & listen to the music, you would swear you are down south. The Carne Asada & the Taco de Birria are phenomenal. the best part of the Tacco de Birria is you get to drink that dipping sauce after like a soup. We hit this place in the winter, but we are coming back to town in the summer & we're sitting out on the patio with a margarita & our tacos.View more

A great mexican restaurant that will transport you to another place. The atmosphere, food & drinks are all amazing, fun & authentic. The ordering flow is awkward & the menu board is a bit tricky to understand. Those are minor gripes though, & are easily forgiven or written-off as part of its charm. I'll be going back soon.View more
