Wow wow & re-wow! Ambiance festive, nourriture excellente, drinks généreux & délicieux! On était deux ma femme & moi, mais nous allons revenir avec des amis pour faire la fiesta tout en se régalant tous les sens! Allez goûter ça en personne, vous n'allez vraiment pas le regretter!
Excellent service, délicieux plats! Beaucoup choix,' saveurs 110%mexicain demande pour le serveur de la photo haute gamme!!! La crème de la crème, en plus la musique vraiment agréable (des bouchons d'oreilles pour le délicat😅)mais fortement recommandé les pambazos, tacos dorados accompagner avec Oxaca drink 🍹 chers
A hidden gem! The atmosphere truly feels like being in South America, with authentic food, lively karaoke, & great drinks. Maher's bowls are impressively large & an absolute must-try!
Great taco place with amazing pretty drinks. Staff is super friendly, & service is surprisingly fast! The tacos are really good, especially the al pastor! Really big dining area, which is great for big groups.
The menu at this place is the real deal. It's not the most elevated style of mexican cuisine but it's got to most varied mexican menu I've seen in Montréal. Usually all you find on mexican menus here is tacos & burritos but this place has a lot of options; tortas, birria, cochinita pibil served the Yucatan way, chilaquiles, sopas, etc. It kind of reminded me of the cantinas of Mexico city where you can get just about anything from anywhere in Mexico. We ordered take out & I can't wait to visit in person & try their drinks as well. I don't usually leave reviews but this restaurant brought me back to a place that's very close to my heart. Well done!
Très bonne bouffe, bons drinks, belle ambiance. Tenue vestimentaire décontractée. Nous avons eu plusieurs serveurs & il y a eu un peu de confusion & de tension sur le coup de leur part, mais ça s'est bien rétabli, quoiqu'ils ont essayé de nous charger leur erreur. Le ceviche est vraiment excellent. Vaut mieux commander deux guacamoles, elles semblent un peu petites en portion. Somme toute, je recommande!
i can't recommend this restaurant more, went for my birthday on a friday & walked in right on time when they were free pouring tequila into everyone's mouths around 20h30 😭😭. the vibe is amazing, there was live music, party lights, giant sombreros for everyone & an axolotl mascot! the staff is the sweetest, the drinks are STRONG & they have giant margaritas to share (40$). they also brought me out a pretty big slice of carrot cake with a sparkling candle when i mentioned it was my birthday 🥳 , overall had such a good time but definitely make a reservation if you're planning on getting there before 22h, it was packed!!
A very friendly place to enjoy a fantastic bite from their awesome menu. But the drinks are also very well prepared. I like the professionalism of the mixologist. The drinks are always spectacular. Very meticulously prepared, the presentation is second to none. & always served with a smile. & the location of Taco Margarita for me is perfect. Welcome to Monk! Cheers 🍻
Despite the positive reviews, my experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. We ordered a chicken taco, a vegetable taco, & two margaritas. The food quality was subpar, with the chicken taco being dry & lacking seasoning & the vegetable taco being average at best. The chicken taco didn't come with any sides & was difficult to swallow due to its dryness, while the vegetable taco had minimal accompaniments. On the upside, the margaritas were well-prepared & quite potent, making it a good choice for those looking to enjoy a strong drink. The staff was friendly & welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere, although it was slightly below average. We paid 70$ before tip for the food that you see in the pictures

Food was good. Service was abismal. Just a terrible experience. Left in a terrible mood after spending 60$ of my hard earned money. Will never ever go again. We reserved a week in advance, & when we showed up on time had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. We were served our food in drinks in 10 minutes & had to wait 45 minutes after eating & chase down 4 different waiteres to get our bill to leave.
Went with a large group to finally try this new restaurant. Have to say I was disappointed 😞 the atmosphere was nice & the food was good but pricey for tacos 🌮. I tried the $39 margarita, which was what seemed like a lot of ice, but it was tasty, but a novelty. Our group (10ppl) was not wowed by the food or the quantity we received. Overall, we left with a mediocre feeling of the food. What we did leave with was total awe at how we were treated. We had to wait to get our 1st drink orders, which took forever to get, & then 1 if 3 different ppl were trying to sever us, leading to confusion. When they tried to take our food order, they only took half the table & walked away. This made it hard to get our food at one time & left some of us waiting for the rest of our table to get their food & ended up eating before it was cold. They were not attentive at all. Because some of us got iur food 1st they ginished 1st. Leaving them with no drink or food. The staff never came around to follow up & ask if we want more to drink, fill our water bottles, or ask if we want anything else. Maybe more tacos, dessert ect. Top top it off, we all waited more than 30 minutes & wanted to leave the staff (which we were not sure who was who due to their lack of uniforms or markings) we didnt know who to flag down & had to go up to the bar & get someones attention to try to pay. We were told to go back to our table & wait. The table they put together was a bench & had people stuck with five people beside them & no way out. So once they got out to try to go pay had no interest in shuffling back along a bench. We stood next to out table for 10 more mins waiting for staff to come so we could pay. We had to go & beg to pay & form a line at the bar while they tried to sort out the bills. Because they were so disorganized, they didn't track who had what. I see potential with this business, but they need a front-end manager to teach the staff & show them how a restaurant is to be run. Also how to use the software to take orders. I might go back some time when I want to spend 18 for 4 small tacos but it wont be with a group. I thought based on thei busyness that they would be a good place to take my friends.... I was wrong. Ps.... hust read another review where the reply from management says the large margarita had 12oz of alcohol in it.... I might just go back & ask them make one for me while I watch.... cause I doubt highly after drinking one that it had 12oz of alcohol. Lmfao
C'est une très belle place surtout à ville emard qui n'a pas grand restaurant avec ambiance! La nourriture est bonne les verres aussi! Juste l'impression que c'est surchargé puis qu'il mettre la pression pour tu partes le plus vite possible. Nous hier, drink entré repas ok vous désirez votre facture? Comme... j'ai même pas terminé mon drink à 40$ please. Nous avons quitter puis ca pris 1h ... juste plate d'être sur le stresse comme ca!

Nous avons adoré notre soirée. La nourriture était vraiment excellente & les drinks également . Il avait une super ambiance & le personnel est super accueillant. Je vous le recommande
Belle endroit qui fait du bien au quartier. Nourriture délicieuse! Une bon service & cela dans trois langues. Bon drinks & très bonne musique également, Bravo!
Ordered the taco al pastor, quesobirrias, pulled pork tacos & the nachos (plus drinks). Food was all very good, although I wish they had double tortilla'ed the pulled pork tacos as they were super juicy. Service wasn't great, I know the place is new so I'll cut them some slack, but the staff mostly felt like they were working their first job in the industry. Paying the bill was an ordeal. Overall would go back again. I'd love if they introduced a taco plate to the menu (2-3 tacos with some beans, rice, salad) since the tacos on their own are quite small.
Amazing, authentic tacos. The drinks are fantastic & the large margaritas are big enough to drown in. If you're into spicy, you have to try their hot sauce. You won't regret it.
Went for tacos & margaritas. The tacos were pretty good. The margaritas were disappointing. Service was fast & friendly. The dining room was a bit noisy. The biggest disappointment was the margarita. I hoped that since it was part of the name that they would be spectacular. They were not. Too sweet, & we couldn't taste the tequila, & since they used bottom shelf tequila it was probably good that we couldn't. It has just been open a couple of weeks so maybe there will be some improvements. I hope they update their eponymous drinks.
