Sushi was great. Super fresh. Very tasty & beautifully presented. The wonton soup however was awful & tasteless. The wontons were also really bad & under seasoned. We don't complain much about food. The fried crispy things smelt horrible- they were likely fried in very old rancid oil. They tasted awful aswell. I emailed the restaurant that evening & no one replied. We threw the wonton soup out. No one wanted to eat it.
The best sushi I've had in the west island! The staff there are so friendly & it's always a pleasant experience, either dining in or taking out. Usually we get the simplicite combo, the peanut butter dumplings & the wakame salad. Their presentation is beautiful, the rice is really well seasoned & the perfect temperature & the fish is really fresh.
Our favorite West Island sushi place on St. Jean closed a few years back. So happy to have found Sushi Yuu today, they are by far the best sushi in the West Island, better than our previous favorite. Thankful to have found this gem. Wishing you guys only the best! Thanks for a great take out lunch. We'll be back! :)
A hidden gem, the best sushi I ever had in MTL!! The place is very unassuming but the service was great, food was AMAZING & the price was super fair. It's a shame I live far away, but if you're ever in the area, do check it out!
I was really impressed by the presentation of the food, especially considering that it was a delivery order. The kamikaze was very good & tasted refreshing, & my family & I also enjoyed the caterpillar maki. The sushi size was very big which I really appreciate. The only thing I didn't really enjoy was that the soy sauce was quite salty, but that just might be my personal opinion. Nonetheless I will definitely be back :)
I totally enjoyed my meal at Sushi YUU with my two nieces. The fish was fresh & tasty, the atmosphere was pleasant & the service was excellent! In fact the food was so delicious that we returned the next day!

Absolutely amazing sushi. The ingredients are super fresh & they go above & beyond on the plating & the service . Would definitely recommend. The prices are very reasonable for what you are getting. A hidden gem for sure.
Have eaten-in & gotten takeaway from here many times & it's always been really tasty & fresh with beautiful presentation.The staff is always super friendly. Probably the best sushi we've had In the West Island.
I can only describe my experience at Sushi Yuu as positive & budget friendly.The food had the flavor & trappings comparable to many high end Sushi establishments in a more cozy & less expensive format. Sushi Yuu has become my & my husband's go to place for Sushi from the moment of its inception in the West Island market.
