Excellent quality, freshness & taste in all the dishes we selected. We had out of town guests & brought them to Sushi Hin to experience our favourite sushi restaurant. There was something for everyone (kids, seniors, pregnant moms, etc.) to all have a selection & variety to choose from, & enjoy. The salmon & tuna sashimi were so fresh! The hot foods came to us piping hot. Food was great! Service was great! Atmosphere was great! Guess it's why I keep coming back!
The most insane AYCE sushi I have ever been to in all of Montreal & it is not an exaggeration. Tuna/salmon sashimi & tataki, beef sashimi, pad thai, fried rice, short ribs, mussels, special rolls... wow incredible. They have Makis without rice as well! Food arrives hot & fresh at your table within minutes of ordering & everything is delicious. You order with your phone by scanning the QR code on the table, & all the people from the table can see when an item is added.
With tax & 15% tip it comes to around $54 per adult for dinner, but trust me guys it is well worth it for special occasions or if you just want to satisfy a sushi craving. Come here with friends so you get the chance to try many items from the menu. & please make sure to tip them well! Service is consistently outstanding. One thing I dearly hope for is that this restaurant never changes. Thank you Sushi Hin

Went for Lunch, only good things were the seaweed salad, the meat & the fried sushi. Other than that, sushi was bland, salmon was dried out & had connective tissue on it. Remnants of the old sushi saint jean....
I want to preface that the service was excellent. It was quick, every one was so nice, no complaints on that. However, I'm so sad to say that the food was really underwhelming. The water had an aroma of mould. The rice was overcooked & unseasoned. It just tasted like mush. Everything tasted the same & there was no smoked salmon which is one of my favourite. I'm sorry but I cannot recommend this place.
This place NEVER disappoints. Dont listen to fake reviews that are bieng posted by fake people. I work in the food industry & noticed that this place was 4.9 when it opened & it is STILL 5 stars. This restaurant is SO GOOD I am guessing there are competitors who post nasty reviews. They are fake. I haven't met anyone who ate there & complained. We all love it. I dont mind driving 50 min to come down here. If you're having a bad day, you should honeslty invest in a good experience. Food is HEAVENLY. The vibe is just exquisite. You will never ever get this quality of taste offered in every single dish anywhere in Montreal. My fav are the spicy mussels, Tattaki, Teriyaki Salmon, all handrolls, dumplings, tender chicken skewers, oozing shrimps... actually EVERYTHING. Every dish is truly a work of art. Taste is super original making you feel like you traveled somewhere far. Please TIP THESE GUYS GOOD. I wish we can all report the fake reviews & help this resto reach back to 4.9. 120% best sushi in Montréal. Nothing compares to sushi Hin. Every other place truly sucks. Sushi Hin has taken over brillantly over previous owner (Sushi St-Jean) They have 2 different menu options for lunch & dinner. For the Lunch that we selected during a weekend it was 29$ per person. For a little more ypu can select dinner even at lunch time to unveal lot more options. Quality is amazing. & yes you want to order more of the same.. meaning that taste & execution are great ! Oh yeah. memories came back.. & YES it was pack in no time. Kitchen was taking order until 2.30pm Maki, sashimi (salmon), hosomaki, temaki & kitchen wow.. kitchen amazing. I had that beef brocoli.. & yeah crispy tender.. perfect. I sampled a lot of everything & it was actually very good !!! Staff.. Perfect.

The salmon sashimi, oil fish sashimi, beef tataki, & avocado rolls are consistently fresh. But the salmon pizza was a miss for me. The breaded rice was cold & not too crispy. The chicken pad thai was more savory than sweet & was a bit dry. The flavor was too subtle. I wish it had a bolder flavor & more sauce.
Been three twice now since I'm in town for 2 weeks. Great all you can eat sushi buffet where you just scan the QR code to bring up their menu in your phone & start ordering away. The menu also have pictures of items for easier food identification which is nice if you don't know what the food is called. Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. Nice clean restaurant with lots of staff on hand. Staffs are nice, attentive, & work in unison to bring food to your table & taking empty plates away. The foods are fresh & nicely presented every plate. The beef & salmon takaki are some of the delicious dishes that cost $20 a plate at a different restaurant. Great foods. Great service. Great value all around.
