Probably the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. Best fish quality, imaginative creations & a fish liver that is sensational. A must when You are in Montreal.
Amazing experience, great staff. My friend flew in from Florida just to eat here a second time.
The quality of the fish is unmatched & the staff are exceptional. Sat at the bar, Haru san & Sunny took great care of us. Had a blast being served by Reza, Wilson, James & Raphaelle.
A very nice resto, chic & cozy ambiance. The staff is very professional & friendly. Our waiter was very delightful & helpful. Most of our orders were suggestions from him according to our preferences of fish. The scallop lemon maki & the steak spiced blue fin tuna were a-m-a-z-i-n-g! Would definitely be going back. It may be a bit on the pricier side, but given the type of cuisine (sushi) & especially for its quality, it's totally worth it. Besides, eating sushi was never on the cheap side... you pay for the quality :)
The place is small. Do not like the neighborhood at all. Over priced & ok quality.
The food was amazing , high quality, well prepared & great flavours. The service was quite disappointing, we all felt like there was some impatience in the air which left us uncomfortable. But i will go back to give it another try because the great food made it up for the weird atmosphere.
This restaurant is disgusting.
My girlfriends & I went to Hidden Fish on Tuesday right before the Justin Bieber concert & we were really excited to try it.
The food itself tasted fine but it is what came after that really disappointed us.
The three of us were all violently sick with food poisoning, to the point that my girlfriend had to cancel her trip to Miami because she couldn't fathom taking the plane because she was getting up to throw up every 30 min to an hour. Before throwing accusations, we did covid tests & we all came out negative.
Our bills were between 150-175$ a person. I contacted the restaurant to advise them & they suggested we do a covid test & said that their food was top quality. They offered no compensation & had no empathy towards our situation.
BEWARE!!!! If you do not want to get violently ill with food poisoning DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!
had to wait for our table (not too long) although the reservation had been made with a deposit.
The order was taken quickly but the salad brought was the wrong salad, had to be cancelled as it was taking too long & other items had already arrived.
Regardless, this is the best Japanese restaurant in Montreal & quality if the fish & ingredients is worth price.
Highly recommended.
Amazing menu & the quality of the fish is the best in the city. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
Beautiful atmosphere. The quality of fish is top tier. I consider myself a sushi fanatic having tried soo many places & this is honestly the best sushi I've ever had in my life. 10/10 do recommend don't even think twice. MUST TRY IN MTL! Would drive back from toronto just to eat here again.
Hidden Fish is a Hidden Gem , the fish was the best & freshest I have seen in Montreal from all the Sushi Houses that are currently active. The proficiency of the Chefs & their respect of the tradition of Japanese cuisine is first rate. None of the foolishness of convoluted sauces of Park & the rest of the pretenders in this space.. simplicity is the basis to let the freshness & quality Of craftsmanship speak for them selves. Bravo & chapeau to this outstanding Restaurant. I will be back.
My father & I have been to hidden fish three times now & the food has never let us down. Top quality!
An extremely unique experience with exquisite high quality food. Worth every penny!!!
We've been to some very fine Japanese restaurants in the city & we will add this one to our list . Sashimi is amazing quality, melts in your mouth. Service & ambiance are great. We'll be back
Amazing service & great quality sushi. Some of the best we've had in Montreal.
Also, a very nice atmosphere.
The place is cute but extremely noisy. It gives me supper club vibes, which doesn't match the decor at all. Food wise, the fish quality is not outstanding & there's no layers to the flavors. As for the customer service, it was very slow & not so professional. The plates were not even presented when set on the table. It was a disappointing experience..
